Pulsz Oklahoma Is Gold Coins Only Before Nov 1 Ban

Pulsz has switched Oklahoma to Gold Coins only, ending Sweeps Coins play in the state roughly two months before Oklahoma's own November 1 sweepstakes ban takes effect. Its state-list article was edited at 10:47 UTC on September 2, 2026 and now reads "Oklahoma (GC only)", the tag Pulsz uses for states where you can still play but the Sweeps Coins that pay cash prizes are switched off. Pulsz has said nothing about Oklahoma balances, and the last time it made this move, in Indiana, unredeemed Sweeps Coins expired 49 days later.

What exactly did Pulsz change for Oklahoma?

One line in one document. The article is "Where can I find Pulsz in the US?", and it is the state list Pulsz points players to. We fingerprint it on every run. Across our five stored readings from August 31 onward the fingerprint did not move. Today's reading returned a different one, and Zendesk timestamps the edit to 10:47 UTC on September 2, 2026.

The list still opens the same way: "Pulsz is available online in 36 US states and the District of Columbia, including:". The headline count did not move, and neither did the 14 states Pulsz shuts out entirely - "Arizona, California, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, Alabama, Tennessee, West Virginia, New York, Louisiana, Connecticut, Michigan, and Maryland." What moved is the entry for Oklahoma.

The before-state is not a reconstruction. We quoted this same document verbatim on August 12 in our count of the operators still taking Oklahoma players, and Oklahoma appeared in that list with no qualifier while four other states carried the tag.

What does "GC only" mean for your Pulsz balance?

Pulsz does not define the tag on the state list itself. Read plainly, the Gold Coin side of the product - the free-to-play currency with no cash value - continues, and the Sweeps Coins side, the only route to a cash prize, does not. Pulsz has made this move before, and it wrote down what it did. Indiana is one of the four states already carrying the tag, and a separate article still live in the same help centre, headed "NOTICE FOR INDIANA PLAYERS", sets out the whole sequence: "From May 4, 2026, mail-in sweepstakes codes will no longer be generated on the website. You have until June 22, 2026 to enter sweepstake promotions with any remaining Sweepstakes Coins in your account, and also to redeem any eligible sweepstakes prizes. After this date, all Sweepstakes Coins in your account will expire, and any gameplay in SC mode will not be permitted."

Laid out as dates, the Indiana wind-down ran like this:

1. May 4, 2026 - mail-in sweepstakes codes stop being generated, closing the free route to new Sweeps Coins.
2. May 13, 2026 - Zendesk dates the creation of the "NOTICE FOR INDIANA PLAYERS" article to this day, nine days after the change it describes.
3. June 22, 2026 - last day to enter promotions with remaining Sweeps Coins and to redeem eligible prizes.
4. After June 22, 2026 - all remaining Sweepstakes Coins expire and SC-mode play is no longer permitted.

That is 49 days from the day the free-entry route closed to the day unredeemed balances expired, and it is the operator's own precedent rather than a competitor's. Two details in it matter for Oklahoma. The free entry route shut first, ahead of the redemption deadline, so the window to build a balance closed before the window to cash one out. And the written notice trailed the switch rather than preceding it. Not every operator is even that generous on paper: TurboStakes forfeits balances under its 100 SC minimum on the day it leaves a state, and Spinsly's rules void unredeemed Sweeps Coins outright when a state ban lands.

Crown Coins Casino fills in what the Indiana notice leaves out, on the purchase side. It calls its version of the tier "Social Mode Only" and, in an article dated August 3, 2026, states: "CC package purchases do not include free Sweeps Coins. Sweeps Coins gameplay is not available once your state's transition is complete. Promotional offers do not include free Sweeps Coins." That is Crown Coins describing Crown Coins, not Pulsz.

What Pulsz has not published is any of this for Oklahoma. There is no Oklahoma notice, no redemption deadline and no expiry date among the 90 articles in its help centre today, and the one-line state-list edit is the only notice the company has given. On the Indiana timetable, a player waiting for a formal announcement is already inside the clock.

Have any other sweepstakes casinos turned off Sweeps Coins in Oklahoma?

No. We read 15 operator documents today and Pulsz is the only one that has moved. Every other brand we can read still treats Oklahoma as fully served, and the documents that exist specifically to name blocked states do not name it.

Shuffle.us is the most explicit of the lot, naming 30 accepted states with Oklahoma among them, and Stake.us runs the longest exclusion list we read today at 22 states without it. Three rows deserve a second look. McLuck revised this exact article on August 26, a week ago, and kept Oklahoma on the welcome list. And Pulsz Bingo, which shares an operator with Pulsz in Yellow Social Interactive, has not touched its state list since June 10, 2025 and still lists Oklahoma among 45 states - the same stale list that still names five states which had already banned sweeps. One company, two brands, opposite positions on the same state.

The Crown Coins row corrects us. Our own database records Crown Coins as excluding Oklahoma, and on August 12 we could not confirm that because the site rendered nothing readable. We can read it now, and it says otherwise: Crown Coins bars Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Washington outright, and restricts Sweeps Coins in Connecticut, New Jersey, Maine and Tennessee. Oklahoma is on neither list, so no brand in our database currently blocks the state and our Crown Coins entry needs correcting.

Why do Pulsz's two state lists disagree?

Because it has not been touched in over a year. A separate Pulsz article, "How old do you have to be to play at Pulsz casino?", last edited on July 21, 2025, tells players they must "not [be] a resident of Washington, Idaho, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, Alabama, Tennessee, Connecticut, New York, West Virginia, Louisiana and Maryland", then adds: "In addition, please note that Mississippi and New Jersey are live with GC only."

That is 12 excluded states against the main list's 14 - it leaves out Arizona and California - and two GC-only states against the main list's five. An Oklahoma player who lands on the age article rather than the state list will be told nothing has changed. Where two documents from one operator conflict, the newer one is the safer assumption, not the friendlier one.

What does Oklahoma's ban say about dual-currency casinos?

SB 1589 amends the state's existing gambling-house statute rather than creating a new offence, and it reaches the dual-currency model by name. Our full read of SB 1589's text and penalties covers the felony grades and the media-affiliate clause; the part that bears on a GC-only switch is the definition. We re-read the enrolled act on the Legislature's own server today. Section 2 is a single sentence: "This act shall become effective November 1, 2026." The definition doing the work sits in Section 941: "Representative of value includes any and all currency used as part of a dual-currency system of payment that allows a person to exchange such currency for any prize, award, cash, or cash equivalent, or any chance to win any prize, award, cash, or cash equivalent." Conducting an online casino game for one becomes a Class C2 felony, and the offence reaches a "promoter, or media affiliate" as well as the operator.

A Gold-Coin-only product with no redemption path sits outside that definition, which is the structure operators used when Louisiana's ban produced a free-play tier. Pulsz has not said that is why it moved, and we are not attributing a motive it has not stated. What should Oklahoma players do with their Pulsz Sweeps Coins?

Work to the operator's clock, not the state's. If you hold Sweeps Coins in an Oklahoma Pulsz account, get verification finished and redeem now rather than waiting for an announcement: in Indiana the announcement arrived after the switch, and it left 49 days before balances expired. All 21 documents were retrieved on September 2, 2026, and every quotation is verbatim from the document it is attributed to. The "body last edited" dates are Zendesk's edited_at field, which moves only when an article's title or body changes; the updated_at field also moves for metadata-only touches and would have dated Pulsz Bingo's state list to August 27, 2026 instead of June 10, 2025. The September 2 timestamp on the Pulsz state list is its edited_at, read live; the August 27 figure is the value our monitor stored before the change, and the fingerprints either side of it are our own hashes of the article body, taken by that monitor rather than by any third-party capture. Chumba Casino, Global Poker and LuckyLand Slots serve their state notices as PDFs behind a geographic gate that returns no readable text to us, and MetaWin's help centre carries no state list among its 73 articles, so those four are not among the 15 and are counted neither way.
