States & eligibility
Blocked outright, 14 states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New York, Tennessee, Washington and West Virginia (AL, AZ, CA, CT, ID, LA, MD, MI, MT, NV, NY, TN, WA, WV), per Pulsz's own help-centre article, re-read on September 7, 2026. Five more, Indiana, Maine, Mississippi, New Jersey and Oklahoma, are Gold-Coin-only: you can still play, but Sweeps Coins are switched off and there is no cash redemption there. Oklahoma is the newest of the five and the one to watch. Pulsz retagged it "GC only" on September 2, 2026, two months ahead of Oklahoma's own ban taking effect on November 1, and it has not said what happens to Sweeps Coins already sitting in Oklahoma accounts - when it made the same move in Indiana, unredeemed balances expired 49 days later. We set out the timing in full in our report on Pulsz switching Oklahoma to Gold Coins only. Pulsz completed its California exit on December 15, 2025, reportedly the biggest sweeps-casino departure from that state, and it has also left New York, Connecticut, Louisiana and Maryland.
