Pulsz Class Action Settlement: Cash Election Due Nov 30
If you spent money on Pulsz or Pulsz Bingo while in Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, New Jersey or Massachusetts, a preliminarily approved class action settlement pays you 27% of your net purchases, before fees, in Gold Coins by default, and you only get 23% in cash if you file an election form by November 30, 2026. The case is Robinson v. Yellow Social Interactive, Ltd., No. 33-CV-2025-900072.00, in the Circuit Court of Franklin County, Alabama, before Judge Brian P. Hamilton. The clerk's e-filing notice captions the same number Pilati v. Yellow Social Interactive. We read the signed settlement agreement, the August 31, 2026 preliminary approval order and the court-approved notices on October 11, 2026.
The headline figures are 27% back in coins or 23% back in cash. The agreement measures both against a smaller number than the notice describes, and for players in three states the default payout lands in an account that has been wiped. Yellow Social Interactive (YSI), the company behind Pulsz Casino and Pulsz Bingo, denies all the claims and denies breaking any law.
What are the Pulsz settlement deadlines?
| Date | What happens |
|---|---|
| June 19, 2025 | Term sheet signed, per the agreement's recitals |
| December 23, 2025 | Settlement agreement dated, per the court's order |
| August 31, 2026 | Preliminary approval entered (Document 40); the class period ends |
| November 16, 2026 | Class counsel's fee request due, per the settlement website |
| November 30, 2026 | Deadline to file a cash election, exclude yourself or object (the website notice says objections must be filed "before" November 30, so do not leave one to the last day) |
| December 31, 2026, 10:00 a.m. | Final approval hearing, 410 N. Jackson Avenue, Russellville, Alabama |
The order also tells the administrator, EisnerAmper, to email class members a reminder with an election-form link 30 days before the election deadline.
Who qualifies for the Pulsz settlement?
Anyone who "spent money to play" Pulsz or Pulsz Bingo while located in one of the six states during these windows, all closing on August 31, 2026:
| State | Class period starts |
|---|---|
| Alabama | March 8, 2022 |
| Tennessee | November 12, 2022 |
| Kentucky | June 29, 2023 |
| Ohio, New Jersey, Massachusetts | February 19, 2024 |
Location is decided "by billing address information, IP address information, or other information furnished by YSI," under section 1.35. The deal closes three earlier cases by name: Pilati in the same Franklin County court, Duckworth in Tennessee state court and Jenkins in the Western District of Kentucky. We wrote about all three, and the federal remands behind them, in our report on the Pulsz lawsuits.
How much does the Pulsz settlement pay?
The court-approved email notice and website both say 27% "of the amount you have spent" in coins, or 23% in cash, less administration expenses, the attorneys' fee award and incentive awards. The agreement uses a different base. Section 1.22 defines "Net Purchase Amounts" as what your purchases exceed your "successful prize redemptions" by (our Sweeps Coins redemption guide covers how those cash-outs work). Its own example: $300 spent and $200 redeemed is a net $100. Redeem more than you spent and your figure is zero, and section 1.22 says you are "not ... eligible to submit an Election Form." Neither notice mentions redemptions. If you cashed out Sweeps Coin prizes, read the agreement, not the notice.
Your three options side by side, from the agreement and the court-approved notices:
| Option | What you get | What you must do |
|---|---|---|
| Do nothing | 27% of net purchases in Gold Coins, at 10,000 per dollar, minus expenses, fees and incentive awards | Nothing; you are bound by the release |
| Cash election | 23% of net purchases in cash, less the same deductions, cut pro rata above the cash cap, coins instead if you fail KYC | File the election form by November 30, 2026 |
| Exclusion | No settlement payment | Signed letter to the administrator, received by November 30, 2026 |
Other numbers from the agreement:
- Coins: paid at 10,000 Gold Coins per dollar (section 2.1(a)(i)). Section 1.43 says Gold Coins "are non-redeemable, non-transferrable and carry no cash value." The default payout is not Sweeps Coins and cannot be cashed out. Our Gold Coins vs Sweeps Coins guide explains why that matters.
- Cash cap: all cash elections together are capped at 25% of the "Estimated Total Benefit," which section 1.37 puts at about $14 million. That works out to roughly $3.5 million for everyone who files. Above the cap, cash is cut pro rata and the rest is paid in coins.
- Verification: to get cash you must pass YSI's ordinary KYC check. Fail it and you get coins instead.
- Fees: class counsel will ask for "no more than 30% of the Settlement Amount" plus expenses, and up to $10,000 for each of the six class representatives. On the $14 million estimate, 30% would be about $4.2 million, more than the roughly $3.5 million all cash electors can share. Section 8.1 says the fee award "shall be made from the Defendant," section 1.17 says it comes "out of the Settlement Fund or by the Defendant," and section 2.1 and both notices deduct fees from what class members receive. Nothing in the documents says which applies.
- Leftover money goes back to YSI. Under section 1.38, anything left after payments is "returned to Defendant." In our Playstudios settlement report, the same Alabama court and the same two class-counsel firms sent the leftover to a charity chosen by class counsel.
When would Pulsz settlement Gold Coins arrive?
The documents disagree. Section 2.1(a)(i) lets YSI spread the coins "over a period of up to 12 months," with at least 20% in the first 30 days. The court-approved website notice says that without an election form "you will receive virtual coins in instalments over either two years or five years." We cannot tell you which one YSI will follow.
What happens to Pulsz accounts in Alabama, New Jersey and Tennessee?
This is the part of the agreement that matters most to anyone holding a balance. Section 11.1 says YSI "currently does not provide access to the Applications to Users located within Alabama, New Jersey, and Tennessee." Section 11.2 makes those "Dormant Accounts." The terms for them:
- A dormant account is reinstated "with a zero balance of Virtual Gold Coins, Sweeps Coins and loyalty points or status," and holds only the settlement coins (section 11.6).
- YSI has no obligation "to give effect to any redemption requests not previously completed or paid," and claims over "unfulfilled or rejected redemption requests" are covered by the release (section 11.6).
- The account cannot receive Sweeps Coins "via any method (including write-in requests/AMOE)," cannot make purchases and gets no daily free coins (section 11.7).
- An account inactive for 60 days or more "may be terminated by YSI irrespective of the remaining balance" (section 11.3).
If you have a pending redemption, an old Sweeps Coin balance or VIP status on an account in one of those three states, doing nothing gives up any claim to it. Section 11.4 adds that accounts closed by self-exclusion can only take the cash option. Section 11.5 says accounts closed for cause get nothing.
One detail does not match. Pulsz's own help centre, last edited September 2, 2026, lists New Jersey as "GC only" rather than blocked, and the Pulsz Bingo help centre lists it as available with no qualifier, while the agreement treats New Jersey as a state where YSI has withdrawn. Alabama and Tennessee are blocked in all three. We covered the Pulsz Bingo list in our report on its conflicting state lists, and our Pulsz review carries the full Pulsz state list.
What do you give up by doing nothing?
You release YSI from every claim "relating to the operation of the Applications and/or the sale of virtual coins," including claims "potentially subject to arbitration agreements" (section 1.30). Under section 3.4, class members also stipulate that Pulsz coins are "gameplay enhancements" and not a thing of value under named gambling statutes in all six states. While YSI keeps up the section 2.2 measures, they are estopped from saying otherwise. The release does not touch the separate Apple, Google, Facebook and Amazon platform cases (section 1.27). Taking the coins also binds you to YSI's "then applicable Terms of Service," and the account may have to click through the current Terms of Use first (section 11.9). Those terms carry the individual arbitration clause described in our Pulsz lawsuits report, and its 30-day window is explained in our arbitration opt-out explainer.
Neither Pulsz help centre mentioned the settlement when we searched both on October 11, 2026: zero articles contained the word.
What should you do before November 30?
- If you want money: file the election form on the settlement website. It asks for your Pulsz or Pulsz Bingo Customer IDs, every email on the account, and a choice of check, Zelle, PayPal or Venmo. Checks are void after 90 days. Under section 2.1(f), uncashed money goes back to YSI and you get Gold Coins instead. Section 2.1(a)(ii) says the parties treat payments as a "non-taxable refund" and require no W-9; that is the parties' position, not tax advice.
- If you are in Alabama, New Jersey or Tennessee with a pending redemption: read sections 11.2 to 11.7 and decide whether to exclude yourself. Exclusion needs a letter to the settlement administrator, by email or mail, with your name, phone number, mailing and email addresses, Player IDs and your own ink signature, sent by November 30. The court's order says the request must be received by then, so send it early.
- If you redeemed more than you spent: under section 1.22 you have no net loss to recover.

One correction on our own site. Our September 6 Pulsz litigation report said no settlement appeared in the ten federal dockets carrying YSI's name. That is still true of the federal dockets, but this state-court settlement now exists, and that article now carries a correction. Our Pulsz Casino review and Yellow Social Interactive profile withdrew the old aggregator settlement figures in September and say a settlement could exist in state court where we could not see it. One does, and both pages need updating against this agreement.

FAQ
Do I have to file anything to get paid in the Pulsz settlement?
No. If you file nothing, you get Gold Coins worth 27% of your net purchases at 10,000 coins per dollar, minus expenses and fees. You only need the election form, due by November 30, 2026, if you want cash at 23%.
Does the Pulsz settlement pay Sweeps Coins?
No. The default benefit is Gold Coins, which section 1.43 of the agreement says "carry no cash value." Dormant accounts in Alabama, New Jersey and Tennessee are barred from receiving Sweeps Coins at all.
Is the settlement final?
No. The court granted preliminary approval on August 31, 2026, and the final approval hearing is December 31, 2026. Under section 2.1(c), cash payments are due within 60 days after the settlement's effective date, which comes after final judgment and any appeals.
