How SweepsPatrol makes money
EFFECTIVE DATE: JULY 29, 2026
SweepsPatrol is free to use. When you click a link to a sweepstakes casino and register or make a purchase, we may earn a commission from that operator. This is how we fund testing and research — and this page explains exactly how it works, because the FTC requires it and because you should know either way.
How the links work
Outbound casino links on this site route through our own click-tracking redirect. That redirect exists for one reason: it carries a tracking reference that tells the operator the visit came from SweepsPatrol, so the operator can pay us a commission if you sign up or buy coins. Clicking one of these links never costs you anything and never changes the offer you receive — the price and the promotion are the operator's, identical with or without our link. Every such link is marked as sponsored, and every page that carries one shows a disclosure before the first link appears.
Why the scores stay independent
Rankings and scores are produced by our published 12-criteria weighted scoring model, maintained in a versioned scoring database that is re-verified on a dated cadence — the full methodology, criteria, and weights are public at how we rate. Commission size is not one of the twelve criteria. No operator can pay for placement, a higher score, a softer review, or removal of criticism — there is no price for any of those, and no operator has ever been offered one. Some of the brands we rank pay us nothing at all, and they are ranked by the same model in the same table.
The proof is in the negative space: our Blacklist names brands we refuse to recommend, including brands whose affiliate programs would happily pay us. When a listed brand dies, exits the market, or fails our standards, we say so on the page and keep the warning up — dead and delisted brands stay documented precisely because readers keep searching for them. A site that ranked by commission would not maintain a page of brands it refuses to earn from.
We participate in affiliate programs operated by the brands we review and by affiliate networks. Prices and offers are set by operators and can change — we re-verify weekly and date every claim, but the operator's own site is final. Questions about any of this: reach us via the contact section.
