Privacy policy
The short version: we collect almost nothing — a state-selection cookie, a newsletter email if you volunteer it, and ordinary server logs. No analytics scripts, no ad pixels, no sale of personal data, and Global Privacy Control is honored.

1. Who we are and how to reach us
SweepsPatrol (sweepspatrol.com) is operated by Outpace Performance Ltd. For any privacy question or request in this policy, reach us via the contact section.
2. What we collect
We collect very little, and only what the site needs to work: your state selection (a single cookie,
ss_state, holding the two-letter state you picked or that geolocation suggested, so pages can show correct availability and banned-state pages stay compliant); newsletter signup data if you subscribe (your email address, your state, and your confirmation that you are 21 or older — all voluntary); and server logs and clickout events (standard web server records: IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, and — when you click an outbound operator link — which brand link was clicked and a non-identifying click reference). We run no third-party analytics scripts and no advertising pixels on this site.3. Why we collect it
To run the service: show you state-accurate availability, suppress promotional content in states that prohibit it (a disclosed compliance purpose), send the newsletter you asked for, measure in aggregate which listings are used, secure the site, and debug problems. We do not build behavioral profiles and we do not use your data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. No sale of personal data
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that ever changes, this policy will say so first, the site will carry a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link, and opt-out signals will be honored before any such processing begins.
5. Who we share it with
Service providers only, under contract, for the purposes above: our hosting provider (which processes server logs as part of serving the site) and — once newsletter sending is live — an email service provider (which processes subscriber emails on our instructions). When you click out to an operator, that operator or its affiliate network receives the click reference so the visit can be attributed — never your email address. We may also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it, or in connection with a corporate transaction, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
6. Cookies
This site sets one first-party cookie:
ss_state, which remembers your state selection so availability information stays accurate between pages. It contains a two-letter state code and nothing else. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party cookies set by this site. You can delete or block the cookie in your browser at any time; the only effect is that you may need to re-pick your state.7. Your US state privacy rights
If you live in California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, or another state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you have rights over your personal information, including: the right to know/access the personal information we hold about you; the right to correct inaccurate information; the right to delete it; the right to data portability; and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information, sharing for targeted advertising, and certain profiling — noting that we do not sell, share for targeted advertising, or profile in that sense in the first place. California residents may exercise these rights under the CCPA/CPRA; Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, and Utah residents under the CPA, VCDPA, CTDPA, and UCPA respectively; and residents of Colorado, Virginia, and Connecticut may appeal a refused request by replying to our decision. To exercise any right, contact us via the contact section with the state you live in and the right you want to exercise; we will verify the request against the little data we hold and respond within the time your state's law requires. We will never discriminate against you — in price, service, or content — for exercising a privacy right.
8. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. Because we do not sell personal data or share it for targeted advertising, a GPC signal changes nothing today — there is no sale or sharing to opt out of — but the signal is treated as a valid opt-out of any future sale or sharing, as California and Colorado law require.
9. Retention
The
ss_statecookie lives in your browser and is not stored by us beyond request processing. Server and clickout logs are retained for a rolling operational window and then deleted or aggregated. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it — every send includes an unsubscribe mechanism, honored promptly.10. Children
This site is for people 21 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe we have collected information from someone under 21, tell us via the contact section and we will delete it.
11. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the small amount of personal data we hold: HTTPS everywhere, access limited to those who need it, and no storage of any payment or identity-document data (we never collect either).
12. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes here with a new effective date; material changes will be flagged on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
