This is a case where we'd rather flag a conflict than paper over it. The figure we treat as primary - sourced closest to our July 2026 research date - is 25,000 Gold Coins + 2.5 SC, no purchase required. Spree's biggest asset is scale: 1,700 to 2,000+ games from more than 40 providers, including live dealer tables. That's a genuinely large catalog - bigger than most brands we cover - but the provider mix is described only as "mixed majors" in the sources we checked, without Spree itself publishing a studio-by-studio breakdown. If you're hoping for something like RealPrize's live game shows or Coinsback's cashback mechanic, you won't find an equivalent here. One mechanic Spree does run is a Community Jackpot that deducts 0.10 Sweeps Coins from opted-in players on every spin, with its terms published in a help-centre article rather than in either of Spree's legal documents; our desk broke down the Community Jackpot's per-spin cost and stated 60% RTP.

Redemption reality check

Spree's minimum is 10 Spree Coins for a gift card and 100 Spree Coins for cash, each redeemed at $1 per qualifying coin. The low, accessible figure is the gift-card route only. If you want money in a bank account, Spree sits with the 100-coin brands, not below them. Every limit that governs a payout here carries its own section number in Spree's Sweepstakes Rules:

How long does a Spree redemption take?

Purchased coins must be wagered at least once before becoming redemption-eligible. Sections 6.8 and 6.9 are the reason emptying a balance here takes weeks rather than days: one request every two days, each with a ten-day ceiling on it. A Spree help article posted on September 14, 2026 says redemptions submitted a few minutes apart are processed separately and can arrive in either order, a scenario the one-request-per-48-hours clause does not allow for; our desk set that help article against Spree's 48-hour redemption rule. Is there a maximum redemption limit, and do Spree Coins expire?

Two more rules matter if you hold a large or idle balance. Version 1.9 of Spree's Terms of Service, dated October 7, 2026, rewrote clause 6.12 so Spree can, "in our sole discretion", limit redemptions to $10,000 a day and $50,000 a month. Clause 6.12 of the Sweepstakes Rules reserves only the $50,000 monthly figure, and Spree's documents contradict each other on which one controls, so plan around the stricter daily number. With one request every 48 hours, a $50,000 balance then leaves in at least five requests over at least eight days, before processing time on each one; our news desk worked through the arithmetic for a big Spree cash-out. Separately, clause 2.7 of the Sweepstakes Rules says Spree Coins "will automatically expire" once an account goes 60 consecutive days without Spree Coins play, so a balance you leave alone for two months can disappear before you redeem it. We read both documents on spree.com on October 22, 2026. Florida players carry one more limit: clause 6.11 caps what a Florida resident can redeem from a single spin or play round at $5,000, and says anything above that will not be redeemed, so the excess on one big hit is lost rather than paid later. States & eligibility

Which states can't play at Spree?

Spree's Terms of Service name 18 prohibited territories (Version 1.9, dated October 7, 2026, read from spree.com on October 24, 2026; Oklahoma was not on the list when we first read it on August 4): California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Washington and West Virginia. That is wider than the ~14-state pattern typical of mid-tier operators, and it includes Maryland, where no ban is in force.

Which of Spree's lists governs your account is a separate problem: two days after that read, our news desk found four Spree restricted-state lists that disagree - 17 states in the live contract, 15 on its identity check, 16 on its location check, and a superseded 2025 version still running inside the app. Operators revise these lists without notice, so check the current terms before you register.
