Spree Casino Loyalty Program Rules: 15,000 XP a Week
- AUG 12, 2026 - This article said Spree ranks 19th of 30 on our own ranked list. It ranks 21st, and has done throughout: the position is generated from the curated top ten plus the model-ordered tail, and Spree has not moved in that order at any point this month. The number was simply wrong when we published it. Nothing about Spree's loyalty rules changed - the help centre, the promotions page and the terms of service were re-read on August 12 and the XP thresholds, the Level 100 reset and the 24-hour reward-email expiry all still read as reported.
Spree Casino's loyalty program stops sending you weekly rewards if you earn under 15,000 XP in a week, resets your XP to zero the moment you reach Level 100, and voids the reward emails 24 hours after they are sent. None of those three rules appear on the page that advertises the program, and none of them appear in the contract you agreed to.
We read every article in Spree's help centre on August 10, 2026, alongside the promotions page and the live terms of service. The program went live at the end of July and is advertised on Spree's own site. The rules that cost a player money are published in one place only, and it is not either of the documents a player would think to check.
How does Spree's loyalty program work?
The structure is a levels ladder. You earn Experience Points, or XP, and collect a reward at Level 1 and at every tenth level after it. Level 100 moves you out of the ladder and into a tier system, starting at Emerald.
| Tier | Loyalty XP required | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Emerald | 0 to 50,000 | Rolling 30 days |
| Ruby | 50,001 to 100,000 | Rolling 30 days |
| Diamond | 100,001 to 1,000,000 | Rolling 30 days |
Almost all of that is documented in one place, and it is new. Spree's help centre holds 63 articles. Thirty-three were created in March 2024, and then nothing was added for over two years until two articles appeared on July 28, 2026. On July 30 and 31, Spree created 28 more in two days: ten covering a loyalty program, and eighteen covering two new promotional systems called Quests and Missions. Forty-four percent of the help centre is eleven days old.
How much play does 15,000 XP a week take?
Spree's article on weekly reward rules says that to keep receiving recurring loyalty rewards, "you must earn at least 15,000 XP each week", and that "If you don't keep earning the same amount of XP each week, recurring rewards will no longer land in your account."
The published conversion rate is what makes that bite. Spree's article on earning XP says "Every 1 SC played = 1 XP earned" and "Every 100,000 GC = 1 XP earned", and adds that "Gift Spins do not earn XP." On the play route, then, 15,000 XP is 15,000 Sweeps Coins put through the games in a week. The Gold Coin route is not a route: matching the same figure would take 1.5 billion Gold Coins.
| What you do | XP earned | 15,000 XP would take |
|---|---|---|
| Play 1 SC | 1 XP | 15,000 SC of play a week |
| Play 100,000 GC | 1 XP | 1.5 billion GC of play a week |
| Use Gift Spins | None | Never |
| Buy a coin package | Rate not published | Cannot be calculated |
Two things qualify that number, and both should be said plainly.
The first works in Spree's favour. Playing 15,000 SC is cumulative turnover, not 15,000 SC of losses. Winnings can be replayed, so a player cycling a smaller balance through the games repeatedly can reach the figure without spending anything close to it. The requirement is a demand on time and volume of play rather than on deposits.
The second is a hole in the published rules. Spree's article names two ways to earn XP, buying coin packages and playing games, but publishes a conversion rate only for play. What a purchase is worth in XP is not stated in any of the three documents we read, so we cannot say how much of the 15,000 a buyer could cover, and neither can a player deciding whether to try.
There is one more gap in the rule itself. The weekly rewards it governs, such as the weekly Scratch-Off and weekly Gift Spins, are listed in Spree's help centre as tier benefits. But the 15,000 XP article never says whether the requirement applies to everyone or only to players who have reached a tier. Sustained, 15,000 XP a week comes to roughly 64,000 XP across a rolling 30 days, which would sit inside the Ruby band.
What happens when you reach Level 100 on Spree?
This is the part most likely to surprise a player who grinds toward it. Spree's article on Level 100 says that on arrival, "Your standard Loyalty XP resets to 0", you enter the Emerald tier, and "You'll never return to the standard Loyalty Levels."
The reset also changes how your standing is measured. Below Emerald, Spree's expiry article says XP "is valid for 365 days from the date it was earned". After Emerald, "your XP balance is calculated using a 30-day rolling period", and XP banked before the switch "will no longer affect your Loyalty Tier status." So a year of accumulated play stops counting toward where you sit, and from then on your tier reflects the last 30 days only. Spree is explicit that the switch cannot be undone.
Spree's own worked example spells out the consequence: a player who earns XP through July and then stops will find that "By the time you return in September, your July XP will no longer count toward your balance. Your XP balance will be 0."
Where are Spree's loyalty program terms published?
Not where a player would look. We checked all three documents.
| Document | Tiers and rewards | 15,000 XP weekly rule | XP expiry | Level 100 reset |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Promotions page | Yes | No | No | No |
| Terms of Service v1.8.1 | No | No | No | No |
| Help centre articles | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Spree's promotions page lists the level rewards and the three tiers, which it labels VIP rather than Loyalty, and links to "Terms and Conditions". That link points at Spree's Terms of Service, Version 1.8.1 dated 2 June 2026. We searched the full contract text, 82,413 characters of it, for loyalty, tier, Emerald, Ruby, Diamond, Quest, Mission, XP and Experience Points. Not one of those words appears in it.
The circle closes badly. Spree's help centre tells players that "Participation in the Spree Loyalty Program is subject to the Spree Terms of Service" and that "For all of our Loyalty Program's Terms, please check this page." That link resolves to the promotions page, which does not carry the terms either. A player following Spree's own instructions to find the binding rules is sent from a help article to a marketing page to a contract that has never heard of the program.
How long do you have to claim a Spree reward?
The expiry rules run through all three new systems, and they are strict.
| Reward | Claim window | Reissued if you miss it? |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly loyalty reward | 24 hours from the email being sent | No |
| Quest | 24 hours | No |
| Mission reward | Until the Mission event ends | No |
Weekly loyalty rewards are "sent by email", "remain valid for 24 hours", "expire if not claimed within 24 hours" and "cannot be reissued once expired". They also "require you to be subscribed to marketing emails", so a player who has opted out of marketing email does not get them at all. Quests are "available for 24 hours only", and "Once a Quest expires, you will not be able to access your reward." Mission rewards that are earned but not claimed "expire when the Mission event ends and cannot be reissued."
Both new systems also carry purchase-linked steps. Spree lists "Purchase Gold Coin Packages" among Mission objectives, and "Completing a qualifying purchase" among Quest steps. Sweepstakes casinos are free to enter by law, and the footer of Spree's own promotions page says "At Spree it is ALWAYS Free to enter or win our games. No Purchase Necessary." A player should still know that some of these reward paths are built to be completed by buying.
How do you avoid losing Spree loyalty rewards?
Three things follow directly from the rules above, and all of them are cheap.
If you are in the program, stay subscribed to Spree's marketing email. Rewards you have already earned are delivered there and nowhere else, and Spree says an opt-out means you do not receive them. Check that inbox daily rather than weekly, because the claim window is 24 hours from sending, not 24 hours from when you notice.
If you are grinding toward Level 100, understand before you get there that it is a one-way door: your XP goes to zero and your standing is measured on 30 days from then on. That is worth deciding on deliberately rather than arriving at.
And if the appeal is free coins rather than a ladder, the free Sweeps Coins routes cost nothing and carry no weekly quota, and a sweepstakes casino promo code is claimed once rather than maintained. For the wording other operators attach to their offers, sweepstakes casino bonuses explained sets out the standard terms, and how we read operator documents covers the method behind this piece.
Does this change our Spree rating?
It dates part of it. Our Spree review scores Loyalty and VIP at 6 out of 10 and describes the program as basic with no tier detail confirmed, which was accurate when we verified the brand on July 27, three days before any of this existed. That criterion now needs re-testing against the program described here, and we have flagged it for the next data sweep. The scorecard is testing output and we do not edit it to match a news story, so it stands as published until it is re-tested.
Nothing here changes Spree's standing on the criteria that carry most of its score, and nothing here is an allegation of wrongdoing. Publishing a promotion's harsher mechanics in a help centre rather than in the terms is common across the sector: McLuck and three sister sites rewrote their account rules in the help centre on August 6. It is still the player who pays for the gap.
We covered Spree's conflicting restricted-state lists on August 6, and the brand ranks 21st of 30 on our best sweepstakes casinos list.

FAQ
How much play is 15,000 XP a week at Spree?
On Spree's published rate of 1 XP per 1 SC played, 15,000 XP is 15,000 Sweeps Coins put through the games in a week. That is cumulative turnover, not 15,000 SC of losses, so winnings replayed count toward it. Spree publishes no XP rate for coin purchases, so the buying route cannot be calculated from its documents.
Does the Spree loyalty program cost anything to join?
No. Entry is tied to a registered account in good standing, and XP is earned by playing as well as by buying. The cost is in volume of play, not an entry fee, and the usual ways to get coins without buying still apply to your balance.
Do my Sweeps Coins expire under this program?
No. The expiry rules described here apply to XP, to weekly reward emails and to Quest and Mission rewards. They are separate from your Sweeps Coins balance and from how redemption works.
Can I go back to the normal levels after reaching Emerald?
No. Spree's help centre states that once you reach the Emerald tier you will never return to the standard loyalty levels, and your tier is measured on a 30-day window from that point instead of a 365-day one.
Why does the 100,000 Gold Coins figure matter?
Because it decides which currency is worth playing for XP. Gold Coins cannot be redeemed at all, and at 100,000 GC per XP they contribute almost nothing to a tier. If you are unclear on the split, see the difference between Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins.
Free SC drops, new casinos, and law changes - for your state.
One email a week. No spam, unsubscribe anytime. If your state bans sweeps, you get law updates instead of offers - that's the point.
