Spree Redemption Limit: $10,000 a Day, $50,000 a Month

By SweepsPatrol News Desk · Automated research pipeline, editor spot-audited · Last verified OCT 22, 2026

Spree's Terms of Service now let it limit a player's prize redemptions to $10,000 a day and $50,000 a month, a daily ceiling that appears nowhere in its Sweepstakes Rules. The limit arrived in version 1.9 of the Terms, dated October 7, 2026, and as of October 22 it is the only version the terms page carries.

For most Spree players a $10,000 daily figure will never come into play. For anyone sitting on a large win, it changes how long the money takes to leave. Spree's rules already allow one redemption request every 48 hours, so if Spree uses both limits, a $50,000 balance goes out in at least five pieces over at least eight days, before processing time on each.

What changed in Spree's Terms of Service?

Clause 6.12 was rewritten. In version 1.8.1, dated June 2, 2026, it was a coin-expiry rule:

Virtual Coins will automatically expire in the event a Customer Account becomes Dormant. For the purpose of these Terms "Dormant" means there has been no game play activity utilizing Virtual Coins for a consecutive period of sixty (60) days.

In version 1.9 the same clause number reads:

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion to limit an Entrant's redemption of prizes to USD$ 10,000 per day and a total USD$ 50,000 per month.

The only other change between the two versions is the one we already reported: Oklahoma joins the Prohibited Territories, taking the list to 18 states ahead of the Oklahoma ban on November 1. Spree's restricted-state lists already disagreed across its documents before that change.

We read version 1.9 on October 11 for that Oklahoma change and did not report clause 6.12. We should have. The page carries two copies of its terms in its own data, and until this week the copy it displayed to our checks was not this one: version 1.8.1 on October 10 and 15, then a Gold Coin-only text. On our October 22 fetch both copies were the sweeps version 1.9 quoted above, word for word.

Do Spree's Sweepstakes Rules agree?

Only on the monthly figure. Clause 6.12 of the Sweepstakes Rules, version 1.9, "Date of last update: 20 May 2026", reads: "We reserve the right, in our sole discretion to limit an Entrant's redemption of prizes to USD$ 50,000 per month." There is no daily cap in the rules.

Spree's own documents also disagree about which of them wins. Clause 1.4 of the Terms says that where the Terms and the "Incorporated Policies" conflict, "the Terms shall control", and the preamble lists the "Promotional Sweepstakes Rules" as one of those policies. Clause 7.1 of the same Terms says that in a conflict between the Terms and the Sweepstakes Rules, "the official Sweepstakes Rules or the promotion-specific terms and conditions shall take precedence". The Sweepstakes Rules add a third reading, describing themselves as "incorporated as part of the spree.com Terms of Service". A player cannot tell from the text which one Spree would rely on, and the Rules are silent on a daily limit rather than contradicting it. The safer assumption is that the stricter $10,000 daily figure applies.

How long would a big Spree cash-out take?

Here is the arithmetic for a $50,000 balance using Spree's own clauses, assuming Spree applies every limit it reserves:

Step Clause Effect on a $50,000 balance
Daily limit Terms 6.12 No more than $10,000 on any day
Request frequency Rules 6.8 One request every 48 hours, so five requests on days 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8
Processing Rules 6.9 "up to ten (10) days" per payment
Large payments Rules 6.10 Over $2,500 "may require a longer processing time" and may be split
Monthly limit Terms 6.12 and Rules 6.12 $50,000 a month, so a larger win spills into the next month

Add the ten-day processing window to the fifth request, filed on day 8, and the last payment can land 18 days after the first request. That is a floor, not a ceiling: every one of those $10,000 payments is over the $2,500 line in clause 6.10, which allows "a longer processing time" and sets no upper limit. None of this is a measured payout time.

If you hold a five-figure balance, plan on requests of no more than $10,000 each, 48 hours apart, and ask Spree support in writing whether it is applying the daily limit to your account before you file a larger one. We have not redeemed at Spree and have not seen how often it applies any of these limits. Our guide to redemption limits and taxes covers what split payments mean for a large balance.

How does Spree's cap compare with other sweeps casinos?

The daily figure is common. The monthly one is tighter than at least one rival's. Both of the documents below were re-read on October 22, 2026.

Casino Daily limit Monthly limit Source
Spree $10,000 (Terms only) $50,000 Terms of Service v1.9, Sweepstakes Rules v1.9
High 5 Casino $10,000 per calendar day $100,000 per calendar month Sweepstakes Official Rules v44.0, clause 8.10
Chumba Casino $10,000 None stated; "any other amount over any time" Chumba considers necessary Terms and Conditions v23.3, April 7, 2026, clause 8.4

High 5 adds a carve-out, "or as otherwise required by Sponsor's payment providers". Chumba's clause 8.4 is wider still, reserving the right to set any amount over any period it thinks its regulatory obligations or "the requirements of our partners and suppliers" need. In our September read of payout caps, McLuck and Pulsz published no cap anywhere we could read. If redemption floors and speed decide where you play, see our highest-payout sweeps casinos.

Do Spree coins still expire after 60 days?

Spree Coins do. The Terms no longer carry an expiry rule, but clause 2.7 of the Sweepstakes Rules still says "Spree Coins will automatically expire after an account becomes Dormant", meaning 60 consecutive days without Spree Coins play. Clause 4.9 of the Terms still lets Spree close an account inactive for 60 days without notice, and it still points to "Section 6.11" for the meaning of Dormant. Clause 6.11 is about where your balance appears on screen, and the Terms no longer define Dormant anywhere.

That change bears on our September report on Spree's self-exclusion and coin expiry, which quoted the old clause 6.12. We have added a correction to it. The 60-day expiry still applies to Spree Coins, but it now lives in the Sweepstakes Rules. The step-by-step redemption guide covers clearing a balance before it lapses.

FAQ

What is Spree's redemption limit?

Yes. Its Terms of Service, version 1.9, reserve the right to limit redemptions to $10,000 a day and $50,000 a month. Its Sweepstakes Rules reserve only the $50,000 monthly limit. Both are rights Spree reserves "in our sole discretion", not limits it says it applies to every request.

How often can you redeem at Spree?

Clause 6.8 of the Sweepstakes Rules allows one prize redemption request every 48 hours. A Spree help article from September describes requests filed minutes apart, which we reported as a conflict at the time.

When did Spree add the daily limit?

Version 1.9 of the Terms of Service is dated October 7, 2026. The previous version, 1.8.1 of June 2, 2026, had no redemption limit in the Terms.
