Coin Wizard Games Closing: Redeem Sweeps Coins by Oct 28
Coin Wizard Games is shutting down: it closed its coin store on October 14, 2026, ends Sweeps Coins play at noon ET on October 21, and will void every unredeemed balance at noon ET on October 28, the last moment to request a prize redemption.
The operator, Golden Hearts Games, Inc., says it is closing Coin Wizard to concentrate on its older site. If you hold Sweeps Coins there, you have under a week to play and under two weeks to cash out, and a balance below the redemption minimum cannot be cashed out at all.
Why is Coin Wizard Games closing?
The operator's answer, in a help-centre article published October 14: "our management team made a strategic decision to close Coin Wizard Games, the second website our company launched, and focus our attention and efforts on our Golden Hearts Games website, which we have operated since 2020."
That is the only reason given.
The closure is announced only in the help centre, where twelve new articles appeared between 13:03 and 13:15 UTC on October 14. When we loaded the Coin Wizard homepage on October 15 it carried no closure notice, still invited visitors to join for a welcome bonus and still promised "Huge savings on your first coin purchase", a day after the coin store shut. Do not sign up for that bonus: the help centre says there are no longer any ways to get Sweeps Coins, and the site closes on October 28.
What are the Coin Wizard closure dates?
| What ends | Operator's wording | Date and time |
|---|---|---|
| Gold Coin purchases | "the Coin Store was closed" | October 14, 2026 |
| Daily bonus, refer-a-friend, offer wall | "there are no methods to get additional Sweeps Coins" | October 14, 2026 |
| New mail-in code requests | "you will no longer be able to request new Postal Request Codes" | October 14, 2026 |
| Mailed requests honoured | if "received by the end of the business day on October 19, 2026" | October 19, 2026 |
| Completed offer-wall rewards | eligible "up until 5pm ET on October 20, 2026" | October 20, 2026, 5pm ET |
| Sweeps Coins play | "Game play with Sweeps Coins will be suspended" | October 21, 2026, noon ET |
| Last redemption request | "The absolute final day and time to submit a prize redemption request" | October 28, 2026, noon ET |
| Gold Coins play, then site closes | "game play with Gold Coins will be suspended" | October 28, 2026, noon ET |
After that last date, the operator says: "all unused Gold Coins, unused unplayed Sweeps Coins and all unused redeemable Sweeps Coins will be void and unable to use." Gold Coins and unplayed Sweeps Coins "are not eligible to be refunded." Support stays open by email "up until March 31, 2027."
How do I cash out my Coin Wizard Sweeps Coins?
The usual rules still apply, and the operator says so: "Prize redemptions remain subject to the standard redemption rules and requirements that have always been applicable."
- Verify first. "You must verify you account activity first (if you have not already completed this step)."
- 50 Sweeps Coins gets a digital gift card through Prizeout, typically "processed the next calendar day, including on weekends."
- 100 Sweeps Coins gets an ACH bank transfer, typically processed the next business day and received the business day after.
- Only redeemable Sweeps Coins count. Unplayed coins have to be played through first, and play ends October 21, a week before the redemption cutoff.
Our guide to cashing out Sweeps Coins fast covers the verification documents that usually slow a first cash-out, and our guide to why Gold Coins have no cash value explains why they are worth nothing at closure.
What if I have less than 50 Sweeps Coins?
You can play toward the minimum until noon ET on October 21, and nothing more. The operator's article says that with "a balance of less than 50.00 redeemable Sweeps Coins you can continue" to play, and winnings "could provide you with an opportunity to reach the 50.00 redeemable Sweeps Coin requirement."
That is a gamble, not a plan. Play can lose the balance as easily as build it, and if you are still under 50 at the October 21 cutoff, the coins are void a week later. Decide with that in mind rather than chasing the line.
What happens to unused Coin Wizard mail-in codes?
If you already hold Redemption Codes from the mail-in route, you can use "one (1) unused Redemption Code per day" until you hit the five-per-month cap for October or until play stops at noon ET on October 21. Unused codes are void after that. The operator advises against mailing anything new because it "cannot guarantee timely deliver by the USPS". Our free Sweeps Coins guide explains how these mail-in codes normally work.
What should Coin Wizard players do now?
- Verify your account today if you have not.
- If you hold 50 redeemable Sweeps Coins or more, request the redemption now instead of waiting for October 28.
- Play out any unplayed Sweeps Coins before noon ET on October 21 if you want them to count.
- Keep screenshots of your balance and redemption confirmation, and email support if a payout has not arrived within three business days.
