Zonko Casino: Two Live Sites, Only One Publishes Terms

Search "Zonko Casino" and you can land on either of two live websites with different rules. zonko.com serves a Terms of Use naming Mamba Limited and barring 14 states. zonkocasino.com publishes no terms document at any address we could find, names no operating company, and bars 11 states - leaving out Tennessee, Indiana and Maine, all three of which have banned this model.

We fetched both on September 13, 2026. Neither mentions the other. We cannot tell from outside whether they are connected, and we are not going to guess: what follows is what each site says about itself.

What does zonko.com publish?

A full rulebook, and a familiar one. Its Terms of Use at /help/terms/ carries the stamp "Last updated: 14 July 2026" and opens by naming the counterparty: the terms "form a binding agreement between You and Mamba Limited". The footer goes one step further and gives the jurisdiction, saying the site "is owned and operated by Mamba Limited, incorporated in Isle of Man". That is the level of identification the other site never reaches.

Clause 3.4 is the state gate, quoted here in full: "You do not reside in and will not access the Games or Service from the states of Washington, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Nevada, Montana, Delaware, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, California, Tennessee, Indiana, Maine (USA) or any jurisdiction outside the United States (the 'Restricted Territories')."

That is 14 states, and we have read that sentence before. It is byte-identical across the eight brands in the Mamba Limited family that share one rulebook, a group whose redemption terms we covered when Spinsly's rules turned out to void unredeemed Sweeps Coins on a state ban. From outside the US, zonko.com redirects to www.zonko.com/geo-block, which is what a working territory check looks like.

What does zonkocasino.com publish?

Marketing pages, and no rulebook.

We asked for 15 legal paths. Every one returned 404: /terms, /terms-and-conditions, /terms-of-use, /terms-conditions, /sweepstakes-terms, /sweepstakes-rules, /sweeps-rules, /rules, /promotional-rules, /legal, /responsible-gaming, /responsible-gambling, /responsible-play, /help/terms/ and /help/play-rules/. A path we invented, which has never existed on the domain, returned the same 404 template within 60 bytes of the others, so the misses are real 404s rather than a block aimed at us.

Then we checked the site's own map rather than our guesses. Its robots.txt disallows nothing, its sitemap.xml redirects to a sitemap index, and the single child file it points at lists 41 URLs. Not one of them contains the word "terms", or "legal", or "rules".

That sitemap also dates the operation. Its 41 entries carry 41 different last-modified stamps, the earliest 2026-03-01 at 17:21 UTC and the most recent 2026-09-04, with a steady weekly cadence in between. The domain itself was registered at 16:43 UTC on the same March day. The site's own index says it began publishing 38 minutes after the name was bought, which is a six-month-old website by its own record.

The site still assumes the document exists. Its FAQ tells new players that at registration "you'll create a secure password and agree to the terms and conditions". Its privacy policy closes a section by pointing you elsewhere: "For related account rules and participation terms, you may also review the Terms and Conditions." There is nothing to review.

Which states does each site block?

zonkocasino.com's own wording: "Zonko Casino does not operate in the following states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, and Washington."

Tennessee, Indiana and Maine are the gap, and it is not a small one. All three have banned dual-currency sweepstakes play - Maine's ban took effect on July 29, 2026 - and our state-by-state legality matrix files each of them as banned. A player in any of the three reading that page is told nothing is wrong.

What terms would a player be agreeing to?

Whatever the marketing pages say, because that is the only place the rules exist. They are spread across three of them, which is itself the problem. From the banking page:

• Minimum redemption 100 Sweeps Coins, "($100 value)"
• Redemptions "typically processed within 3-10 business days", plus "a standard 3-day pending period for security verification"
• "Maximum redemption processing: Up to $2,000 (larger amounts may require additional verification time)"
• Payout by "cash via check or gift cards from popular retailers"
• Minimum coin package purchase $20

From the state-restrictions page:

• A 1x playthrough requirement on Sweeps Coins before redemption
• A $5,000 maximum "per spin or play round" for players in Florida and New York

From the FAQ:

• Free entry by mail, "a handwritten request to receive up to 3 Sweeps Coins per approved card", with no postal address published anywhere on the site - the same blank we found when Storm.us published a mail-in route with no address to send it to
• Registration verifying "you're at least 18 years old"

The age floor is the one place the two sites agree, and it is worth saying so plainly rather than letting it read as a mark against the newer one. Both set 18, not 21: zonko.com's Mamba terms require you to be "18 years of age or the minimum legal age" and carry an 18+ mark in the footer, and zonkocasino.com's FAQ says the same. That is below the 21 that our own explainer treats as the working assumption for this category, and it is a group-wide habit rather than a Zonko one.

What is not shared is where the numbers live. None of zonkocasino.com's sit in a contract. They sit in sales copy that the site can rewrite tonight with no version history and no notice, which is the practical difference between a rulebook and a landing page.

And they have already drifted apart. The banking page promises redemption "typically processed within 3-10 business days". The state-restrictions page, describing the same process, says redemptions "typically take up to 10 days to process, including a standard pending period". Business days and days are not the same measure, and on a request submitted on a Friday the gap between those two sentences is most of a week. Neither page is a document anyone is bound by, so there is no version that wins. We made the same point about two casinos publishing no sweepstakes rules at all, and the consequence is the same here: there is nothing to hold anyone to.

One claim deserves a flag. zonkocasino.com's banking page says "We're fully licensed and regulated, with all player funds held in segregated accounts." No licence, regulator or jurisdiction is named on any page of the site. Its own FAQ says the opposite about the model, describing it as one that "allows the platform to offer casino-style games without requiring traditional gambling licenses". Those two sentences sit on the same website.

What should you do before signing up?

Three checks, in this order.

1. Read the address bar. zonko.com and zonkocasino.com are not the same website and do not carry the same rules, so which one you are on decides which state list applies to you.
2. Look for a company in the footer. If the footer names one, you have someone to make a claim against; if it names only a domain and a copyright year, you do not.
3. Find the rulebook before you spend anything. The redemption minimum, the Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins split and the mail-in route all need to live in a document you can point to later, and our redemption walkthrough explains which numbers actually matter.

If a brand is new enough that neither the company name nor the rulebook exists yet, our ranked list of tested casinos is the safer place to start.

This also lands on us. Our new casinos hub describes Zonko as a Mamba Limited brand, which matches zonko.com and does not match the site at zonkocasino.com. That entry needs splitting or qualifying, and we have put it on the correction queue rather than leaving it to read as one brand.
