WOW Vegas Adds WOW Picks Sports Predictions, No State List
WOW Vegas, the highest-ranked brand we test, has put a sports prediction game called WOW Picks inside its sweepstakes casino, and it takes both Sweeps Coins and WOW Coins. The operator's own help article, which carries a September 9, 2026 stamp, says that being allowed to play WOW Vegas casino games "does not automatically mean you are eligible for WOW Picks" - and WOW Vegas has published no list anywhere of the states where picks are allowed.
We found this by walking the operator's help centre rather than by being told. Counting across its ten collection pages, WOW Vegas has run 79 articles every time we have looked since August 28. Today it runs 80. The new one is "What is WOW Picks?", filed under General, and its structured data carries a last-modified stamp of 14:19 UTC on September 9, 2026. The help centre sitemap had not picked it up at all when we checked, which is consistent with an article published hours rather than days ago. As far as we can tell nobody else has reported it yet.
One caution before anything else. A help article appearing today is our first sight of the product, not proof of the product's first day. The article is the earliest public document we can point to, and the feature may have been rolling out to accounts before it was written up.
What is WOW Picks and how does it work?
In the operator's words, it is "WOW Vegas's sports prediction experience", where "eligible players can use Sweepstakes Coins (SC) to make picks on selected sporting events and markets". The article is careful to add that "WOW Picks is not a real-money sportsbook. SC used for picks is promotional currency." That is the same promotional-currency structure the casino itself runs on, which our guide to how sweepstakes casinos work sets out in full.
The mechanics are the ones you would recognise from a fantasy pick'em app. As the help article sets them out:
- Choose a sport and an event.
- Add a selection to your Pick Slip.
- Set the amount of SC you want to use.
- Check the Pick Multiplier attached to the slip.
- Confirm the pick, and wait for WOW Vegas to record it.
Selected picks offer a "Finish Early" option that settles before the event ends.
This is not just a help page describing a plan. WOW Vegas's production JavaScript already carries a dedicated purchase surface for it: a wow_picks_store_settings block, a set of WOW Picks store bundles, and a /buy-coins/wow-picks-store route. The feature is built and wired into the coin store, not announced.
Which parts of it can cost you Sweeps Coins?
Three sentences in that article are the ones to read twice, because each describes a way the number in front of you is not yet the number you get.

Sweeps Coins spent on picks are Sweeps Coins not spent on slots, and they are the only currency at WOW Vegas that converts to anything. Picks are not SC-only, though, and this is the part the help article states most briefly. Under a heading called "Coins and currency" it says: "WOW Picks uses SC and VBC, where available. WOW Coins are used for fun casino-style gameplay and can be used for picks."
VBC is not explained anywhere on the page, but the operator's own front-end code defines it. In the production bundle the currency formatter renders the code WOC as "SC" and the code VBC as "WOW", and the currency switcher maps its "REAL" mode to WOC and its "FUN" mode to VBC. VBC is WOW Coins, the non-redeemable side of the account. So WOW Picks takes both currencies, and only the Sweeps Coins side can ever produce anything you could redeem. That matters for the state question below, because the operator's published restrictions are written about SC play, not about picks.
Can you use WOW Picks in your state?
Nobody outside the company can answer that, which is the real finding here.
WOW Vegas already blocks registration or SC play in a long list of places. Its state article, last edited on July 14, 2026 and untouched today, splits them two ways.

Those 15 match the exclusion list on our own WOW Vegas review exactly. What they do not do is answer the picks question, and it is worth being precise about how far they get you. In the three registration-blocked states there is no account, so there is no pick. In the other twelve there is an account but no SC play, which rules out an SC pick; because the operator says picks also run on WOW Coins, we cannot tell you whether a WOW Coins pick is offered there, and it has not said.
Then the new article adds a further gate on top of all of it: "To use WOW Picks, you must be physically located in an eligible territory at the time you submit a pick."
Eligible territory is not defined anywhere we could find. The state article does not mention picks. It points to the SC Game Rules at wowvegas.com/sc-game-rules, and that page renders its text in the browser rather than serving it, so we could not read it from here and cannot tell you whether it has been updated. Until one of those two documents names the picks states, a player in a state that clears the casino has no way to know in advance whether a pick will be accepted.
Do other sweepstakes casinos run prediction games?
Not as a category. Sweeps-coin prediction contests have been arriving all year, and we have covered the free-entry route into the Thrillzz football pick'em, where the prize is void in 20 states, and the CFTC's warning to prediction markets over sweepstakes-style bonuses. The Thrillzz piece is the useful comparison here, because Thrillzz did publish the state list for its contest and WOW Vegas has not.
What is new is which brand is doing it. WOW Vegas sits at number one on our ranked list of sweepstakes casinos and has been a slots-first product throughout our testing. Its operator, MW Services Limited, also runs Coinsback.
The free-entry position is unchanged and the article states it plainly: "No purchase is necessary to participate. Eligible SC can be collected through free-entry methods." Our free Sweeps Coins page tracks those routes.
