Thrillzz Football Pick'em: Free Entry, 20 States Void

The Thrillzz Football Pick'em Challenge costs nothing to enter, awards a 75-inch smart TV, a $500 NFL Shop gift card and a PlayStation 5 in every weekly round, and is void in 20 states. Thrillzz published the terms on September 4, 2026: entry needs only an email address, the smaller coin reward for finishing in the top 50 forces you into an account first, and the entry page the terms send you to is not serving one yet.

We read the promotion terms in full on September 5, 2026, the day after the operator created the page. Thrillzz is a social sportsbook with a sweepstakes prize layer. It is not one of the 33 brands we review, we have not tested it, and nothing here is a recommendation. We are covering it because a free route to a physical prize is rare in this category and the conditions attached are not obvious from the outside.

What is the Thrillzz Football Pick'em Challenge?

A series of weekly contests over the NFL schedule, sponsored by Thrillzz Inc. and effective September 3, 2026. Each week you pick the winner of every game in that round and the winning margin. Scoring, quoted from the terms:

• Correct winner: 10 points. "ten (10) points for correctly placed pick on the winning team".
• Margin within two points: 7 more. "seven (7) additional points where the predicted margin of victory is within two (2) points of the actual margin".
• Exact margin: 15 points in place of that bonus. "fifteen (15) points (in lieu of the points under (b)) for correctly picking the exact margin of victory".

Entries close before kickoff of the first game in the round, one entry per person per week. Ties are broken by whoever submitted first on the sponsor's server clock, then by splitting the prize.

The commitment is smaller than the season implies. The terms promise "not fewer than two (2) consecutive Weekly Contests" and say the sponsor "may, in its sole discretion, conduct additional Weekly Contests during the 2026-27 NFL season, but shall be under no obligation to do so". Two weeks is the floor.

What are the Thrillzz pick'em prizes, and what does entry cost?

Entry is by email address and a verification code, plus a box confirming you are 19 or older. The terms are explicit that this is not a signup: "Registration for this Promotion does not create a Thrillzz account." Nothing about the three headline prizes requires you to download or deposit anything.

The top-50 reward is where the funnel is. Receiving it is "conditioned upon such participant downloading the Thrillzz branded application and completing the registration of a Thrillzz account", and it "must be claimed and redeemed within seven (7) days following the announcement of the winners", after which it "will expire and be forfeited without compensation of any kind". That $5 package is the only part of the contest that puts you inside the sweepstakes product. What happens to coins after that is governed by rules we have read separately: Thrillzz allows one cash-out every five days and reserves up to 60 days to pay it.

Winners also agree to publication. The terms let the sponsor disclose a winner's "email address, username, and state of residence" when announcing them.

Which states cannot enter the Thrillzz pick'em?

Twenty states, named in the terms as Restricted States: "Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Tennessee and Washington". California, New Jersey and Maine are among them, and all three have banned the sweepstakes casino model outright. Indiana, whose ban took effect on July 1, is on the list as well.

There is a gap underneath that list, and it only bites the top 50. Section 4.2 names five documents that govern the account the coin reward requires: the Promotional Terms of Use, the Sweepstakes Official Rules, the Promotional Prediction Rules, the Pick'em Tournament Official Rules and the Mini Games Sweepstakes Official Rules.

Take the fourth of those. Thrillzz has two live documents headed "Pick'em Tournament Official Rules". The one at /games/pickem-rules/ is revised July 14, 2026 and bars the same 20 states. The one at /pickem-rules/, which is the version the site's own footer links and which carries no revision date at all, bars a different 14: Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nevada, Ohio, South Carolina and Washington. Iowa, Minnesota and South Carolina appear in only one other Thrillzz document, the Official Sweepstakes Rules headed May 2, 2024, and the contest itself does not restrict them. We first set out the conflict between the Thrillzz state lists on August 18.

So a player in those three states may enter the pick'em, may win the television, and then meets a rulebook that bars them from the account the $5 coin reward depends on. The terms do not say which of the two versions they mean. The same operator rolled seven of its rulebooks back to an older version this week, which is why two versions of several of them are live at once.

Is the Thrillzz pick'em entry page live yet?

Not at the address the terms give. Section 3.5 sends entrants to thrillzz.com/football-pickem, described as the place carrying the entry deadline, the leaderboard and the winner announcements. Requested on September 5, that URL redirects to the terms page itself rather than to an entry form or a leaderboard. The terms are live, dated and specific; the promotion page they point to is not yet serving one.

Read the terms before you hand over an email address, the way you would with any sweepstakes promotion. Section 6.8 contains a binding arbitration agreement and a class-action waiver, the sponsor may change the terms and the prize amounts "at any time in its sole discretion", and winners are responsible for their own taxes on a television and a games console.
