WOW Vegas Sports Picks Rules Cite Unpublished House Rules

WOW Vegas has written a full sports-betting rulebook into its SC Game Rules - settlement by sport, voids, pushes, parlays and cash-out, twenty sub-clauses and more than forty numbered provisions of it - and that rulebook says a second document, the "Sports Picks House Rules", is "published on the Website" and outranks it wherever the two conflict. We went looking for that document on September 23, 2026 and could not find it by any route the site itself uses.

This matters because of where the House Rules sit in the order of precedence. The SC Game Rules set it out in clause 4, and the ranking runs four deep:

1. The market wording shown with your pick.
2. "The Sports Picks House Rules".
3. The SC Game Rules themselves.
4. The Terms and Conditions.

So the document we can read is outranked by two documents above it, and it is the only one of the top three a player can read before making a pick. The market wording appears at the moment of the pick, and the House Rules we cannot find at all.

We reported on September 9 that WOW Vegas had quietly added a sports prediction game called WOW Picks with a help article and no list of eligible states. The help article has not changed since - it still carries a 14:19 UTC September 9 stamp. What has changed is that we have now read the governing rulebook, and it is a far bigger document than the help page suggests.

What do the Sports Picks rules actually cover?

Version 30.0 of the SC Game Rules, published September 9, 2026, defines a Sports Pick as "an item of Promotional Play in which an Eligible Participant uses SC to select or predict the outcome of one or more sporting events, markets or occurrences within a sporting event". From there it reads like a sportsbook's terms.

Settlement is set per sport, and the rulebook is specific about which minutes count.

There is a push rule: where an outcome "is exactly level, so that the selection can be said neither to have succeeded nor to have failed, the Sports Pick is void and the applicable SC entry amount will be returned". There is a parlay rule: "All selections in a multiple or combined Sports Pick must be successful for the entry to win", with void legs removed and the potential prize recalculated. There is a manifest-error clause, an integrity clause barring athletes, coaches and officials from making picks, and a late-entry clause.

None of this appears in the help article a player is actually pointed at, which runs to a few hundred words and a table of four terms.

Where are the Sports Picks House Rules?

The SC Game Rules describe them twice as published. Clause 1 defines them as "the sport-by-sport and market-by-market rules for the submission, voiding and settlement of Sports Picks which are published on the Website and which are incorporated into and form part of these SC Game Rules". Clause 4 repeats it and puts them above the SC Game Rules in the order of precedence.

Here is what we checked on September 23, 2026, and what we found.

We are reporting a broken cross-reference, not a conclusion about the operator's intent. The document may exist somewhere we did not look, or it may be shown inside the picks interface to a logged-in player in an eligible state, which we are not. What we can say is that it is not reachable from the routes WOW Vegas's own site and content system use for every other legal document it publishes, and it is not in the help centre. WOW Vegas is operated by MW Services Limited, which is named as the data controller in the same rulebook. We have asked no questions of the operator and this piece carries no response from it.

What happens to your playthrough if a pick is void?

This is the clause with the clearest money consequence, and it lands directly on top of something we published yesterday. WOW Vegas tells buyers at checkout that purchased Sweeps Coins must be played through five times before they can be redeemed. The SC Game Rules now explain how picks interact with that requirement, and the answer is not symmetrical.

SC used in a pick that "has been accepted and subsequently settled will count toward any applicable playthrough requirement at the time the Sports Pick is settled". But SC used in a pick "which is void, cancelled or returned, or which is settled using Finish Early, will not count toward any playthrough requirement". Finish Early is the cash-out feature. So a player who takes an early settlement gets their SC back into the balance with no progress toward the playthrough they are carrying. There is one exception written into the same sentence, and it cuts the other way: "where part only of a Sports Pick is settled early, the SC applicable to the remaining part will count toward any applicable playthrough requirement when that part is settled". A partial cash-out, in other words, still earns playthrough on the part left running. The rules also add that the operator "may refuse a Finish Early where a Participant uses, or attempts to use, Finish Early to circumvent playthrough requirements".

Read that against the floor. WOW Vegas's help centre puts the minimum redemption at "SC 50" for cash and "SC 20 for gift cards", so a player who keeps taking early settlements can sit on coins that make no progress at all toward the playthrough standing between them and that number. One drafting detail is worth recording because it is binding text. The postponement clause reads: "an event which is not completed within [48] hours of its originally scheduled start time will be void". The square brackets are in the published document. It is the only bracketed figure in the whole rulebook, which is the shape a drafting bracket takes when nobody deletes it before publication.

Is WOW Picks available in my state?

The rulebook confirms a separate state gate and names no states for it. Clause 1, the eligibility clause, says "Sports Picks may not be available in every Permitted Territory", that the operator "may restrict Sports Picks, or particular sports, events or markets, in any jurisdiction at any time and in its sole discretion", and - the line that matters most - "Eligibility to participate in casino-style Promotional Play does not of itself confer eligibility to make Sports Picks."

The only state list WOW Vegas publishes is about the casino. Its help centre, last modified July 14, 2026, bars Idaho, Nevada and Washington residents from registering at all, and bars SC play in Michigan, Montana, Connecticut, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, California, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana, Maine and Quebec. That is fifteen US states, and it is a casino list; where each of them currently stands in law is on our state-by-state legality map. Two weeks after the picks product was documented, there is still no picks list, which leaves a player in a permitted state unable to tell from any published document whether picks are offered to them.

Florida is the one state the rulebook does name, and it names it to cap prizes: "For eligible participants who are resident in Florida, the highest single prize amount that can be redeemed is capped at USD$5,000 per spin or play round", with the clause going on to say that "each accepted single Sports Pick and each accepted multiple Sports Pick constitutes one play round, including where it is settled using Finish Early". Florida players should read that as a per-pick ceiling, parlays included.

The coins those picks are made with are sold in their own store, separate from the casino one, and we counted and priced every pack in it the same day: a picks pack pays one Sweeps Coin per dollar against a casino-store median of 1.50.

WOW Vegas sits in the top ten of our ranked list of sweepstakes casinos with a displayed score of 8.5, and this does not change that position: the scorecard measures the casino, which is what we tested.
