WOW Vegas Picks Store: 1 SC Per Dollar vs Casino 1.5

WOW Vegas sells coin packs for its sports-picks product through a store separate from its casino store, and across the 87 packs we counted there on September 23, 2026 the picks store pays one Sweeps Coin per dollar spent, against a median of 1.50 per dollar in the casino store. Between $0.99 and $9.99, the prices most players start on, a picks pack pays a fifth to a half of the Sweeps Coins the typical casino pack pays at the same price, and the same fraction of the WOW Coins. What the picks packs do not carry is the five-times playthrough flag that 246 casino packs do.

Both stores are in the same file, the live configuration WOW Vegas serves to every visitor, so this is a straight comparison of the operator's own numbers. The picks store holds 87 packs priced from $0.99 to $449.99 across 22 price points, the casino store holds 1,093, and not one slug appears in both. They are two separate inventories. The product the picks store feeds is WOW Picks, the sports prediction game WOW Vegas documented on September 9 without publishing a list of the states it is offered in.

What does a picks pack pay compared with a casino pack?

We took every pack at each price point and compared what it credits. The picks column is the standard tier. The casino column is the median across every pack the store sells at that price, because the casino store runs many variants of the same price, from 205 different packs at $0.99 to six at $99.99.

There is no picks pack at $49.99, so that price has nothing to compare.

The shape is consistent and it is not a case of trading one currency for the other. At $0.99 the picks pack pays a fifth of the Sweeps Coins and a fifth of the WOW Coins. At $4.99 and $9.99 it is half of each. By $19.99 the gap has narrowed to four fifths, and at $99.99 the picks pack is marginally ahead on Sweeps Coins and level on WOW Coins.

Across the 60 picks packs that include Sweeps Coins at all, the rate is one SC per dollar and never rises above 1.04 per dollar. Across the casino store the median is 1.50 per dollar and the best packs reach ten. So the gap is not uniform. It is concentrated at the cheap end, which is exactly where a player trying picks for the first time is pointed.

Which picks packs pay no Sweeps Coins at all?

Twenty-seven of the 87 picks packs carry zero Sweeps Coins. They are the "social" variants, sold at the same $0.99 to $349.99 prices as their siblings and paying only WOW Coins. The operator's help centre is explicit that "Blue WOW Coins cannot be redeemed, as they have no monetary value". Read the SC figure on the pack, not the price.

What is a "Picks SC" and does the rulebook mention it?

The store configuration splits Sweeps Coins into two fields. One pack, a $9.99 cross-sell sold in the casino store, credits 500,000 WOW Coins, a sweep_coins_amount of 10 and an extra_sports_sweep_coins_amount of 5. The live banner selling it describes the contents to players in plain words: "500K WOW Coins + 10 Casino SC + 5 Picks SC".

That is the operator distinguishing two Sweeps Coins balances, and the distinction appears in no WOW Vegas document we can read. The phrase "Picks SC" occurs exactly once in the entire configuration file, in that banner, and nowhere in the 179 production JavaScript files the site loads. The SC Game Rules, version 30.0 of September 9, 2026, treat SC as one currency throughout: "Eligible Participants with a SC Coins balance in their customer account can use those SC Coins to play games and to make Sports Picks at the WOW Vegas website." There is no clause anywhere in the rules, the Terms and Conditions or the help centre creating a picks-only balance or saying what happens to one. We searched all three in full.

So a buyer of that pack is being told they are getting two kinds of Sweeps Coins, and no published document says whether the 5 Picks SC can be played in the casino, whether the 10 Casino SC can be used on a pick, or whether either behaves differently at redemption. That question sits alongside the one we reported separately this morning, which is that the rulebook governing picks points to a House Rules document we cannot find.

Do picks packs carry the five-times playthrough?

Not according to the flag. Yesterday we reported that WOW Vegas tells buyers at checkout that purchased Sweeps Coins must be played through five times before they are eligible for redemption, and that the requirement fires on a per-pack flag rather than on anything in the rulebook. In the file we read today, 254 of the 1,093 casino packs carry that flag and 246 have it set to true. Every one of the 87 picks packs carries it set to false.

That is a real point in the picks store's favour and it partly offsets the coin rate: fewer Sweeps Coins, but on the store's own record no five-times condition attached to them. The category standard is one time over, which is the benchmark our guide to bonuses and playthrough measures every brand against. Two cautions before anyone treats that as settled. The flag is not the only route to a playthrough requirement, because the checkout text also fires on the store's flash-sale segment, and the SC Game Rules reserve the operator's right to impose up to twenty times playthrough "in its sole discretion and without prior written notice". And the picks rules say SC staked on a pick that is void, cancelled or cashed out early does not count toward any playthrough you are carrying.

The floor is unchanged either way. WOW Vegas's help centre still puts the minimum at "SC 50" for cash and "SC 20 for gift cards", which is the number that decides whether a balance is reachable at all. None of this changes our WOW Vegas review or its 8.5 displayed score, which rate the casino we tested. It does mean the brand is now selling into a second product on separate terms, and anyone who would rather not spend at all should start with the free Sweeps Coins routes instead. WOW Vegas's own picks help article says "No purchase is necessary to participate" and that "Eligible SC can be collected through free-entry methods".
