Stake.us Leaving Oklahoma Oct 30? What Happens to Stake Cash
Stake.us reportedly stops serving Oklahoma players on October 30, 2026, and the reported notice says you can still redeem afterwards, but Stake's terms only allow redemption of Stake Cash played through three times, and no Stake.us terms or help article we could read names Oklahoma yet.
The date comes from a Stake notice reported by SweepsKings. The gap between that notice and Stake's own rules matters if you hold Stake Cash in Oklahoma, because a balance you have not played through yet may have no way to become redeemable once play stops. Here is what we could confirm and what we could not.
What has Stake.us told Oklahoma players?
The wording comes from one place. SweepsKings, in an article updated October 15, 2026, quotes a notice it says was "shown to an OK player and shared on Reddit":
- "Starting October 30 2026, Stake.us will no longer be available to players in Oklahoma."
- "Depending on your account details, you may be restricted from playing, purchasing, or joining promotions."
- "You will still be able to log in and redeem any balance you hold."
Covers and Sweepsy also report the October 30 date. Sweepsy credits SweepsKings and describes the notice as a banner at the top of the Stake.us homepage; Covers does not say where its information came from. We could not open the Reddit post, and Stake.us blocks our requests to its main site, so we have not seen the notice ourselves. Treat the date as reported, not confirmed.
Does Stake.us list Oklahoma as a restricted state?
Not in anything Stake publishes. We checked three of its documents on October 15, 2026:
| Stake.us document | Date on it | States excluded | Oklahoma |
|---|---|---|---|
| Help article "Restricted states on the platform" | July 10, 2026 | 22 | Not named |
| Terms and Conditions, clause 2.1 (archive copy of October 10, 2026) | Version 18.0, July 10, 2026 | 22 | Not named |
| Help centre search for "Oklahoma" | Searched October 15, 2026 | n/a | "We couldn't find any articles" |
The 22 states are the same in both lists, and match the excluded-states list in our Stake.us review and rating. We covered how that list grew to include Indiana and Maine in September.
One piece of Stake's own code points the same way as the notice. The Stake.us terms page carries a site setting named "banned-us-states". In an archived copy from April 10, 2026 that setting listed 21 entries and no Oklahoma. In a copy from September 8, 2026, it ends "Tennessee,Illinois,Indiana,Maine,Oklahoma". We do not know what that setting controls, whether sign-ups, purchases or play, so it shows Stake had flagged the state internally by early September, not what an Oklahoma account can do today.
Can Oklahoma players still redeem Stake Cash after October 30?
The notice says yes, and the terms back part of that. Clause 23.5 says that if an account is deactivated "as a result of closure of the Platform or similar event", Stake "will make commercially reasonable efforts to enable redemption of any existing Prizes", but "all of your rights to use, enjoy or benefit from the Gold Coins and Stake Cash will be terminated."
The catch is play-through. Clause 13.1(c) requires players "to play their Stake Cash three (3) times before it is eligible to be redeemed for Prizes", except Stake Cash won through promotional play. Stake's "Redemption progress" help article gives the example: 10 Stake Cash received with a purchase means 30 Stake Cash of play before you can redeem. If play stops on October 30 as reported, a balance you have not played through yet may have no way to become redeemable. Neither the notice nor the terms say otherwise.
Redemptions on Stake.us run through the Wallet: under clause 13.4 you "select your 'Wallet' account, press 'Redeem,' and choose the cryptocurrency". Our guide to cashing out Sweeps Coins covers the redemption steps, our identity verification guide explains the checks that usually slow down a first redemption, and our crypto payments page covers how coin redemptions reach a wallet.
What should Oklahoma Stake.us players do before October 30?
- Open the Redemption section and check whether any rollover is still outstanding.
- If it is, decide before October 30 whether to finish it, knowing that more play can also lose the balance.
- Redeem anything already eligible now rather than relying on the post-deadline window.
- Do not buy another Gold Coin package. Stake's "Redemption progress" article says Stake Cash that comes with a new purchase keeps the Redemption section locked until that amount is played through three times, which may not be possible after October 30.
- Screenshot your balance and any notice Stake shows you, and keep support replies in writing.
How does Stake.us compare with other Oklahoma exits?
Stake's reported date comes after two exits we have confirmed from operator documents and just before a third:
| Date (2026) | Casino or law | What ends in Oklahoma | Where the date comes from |
|---|---|---|---|
| October 20 | Baba Casino | Last day to play or redeem Sweeps Coins | Baba's own documents |
| October 29 | High 5 Casino | Sweepstakes platform stops | High 5's own documents |
| October 30 | Stake.us | Stake.us no longer available; notice says redemption stays open | Notice reported by SweepsKings, not seen by us |
| November 1 | Modo | Sweeps Coins play and redemptions | Modo's help centre |
| November 1 | Senate Bill 1589 | Sweepstakes ban takes effect | Section 2: "This act shall become effective November 1, 2026." |
Our Oklahoma sweepstakes ban tracker does not include Stake.us among the 15 casinos it follows, and our Oklahoma state page explains what the ban covers.
Our Stake.us review still lists 22 excluded states without Oklahoma, which matches Stake's own documents. It will need updating once Stake publishes the change or the date passes. If you live outside Oklahoma, our ranked list of sweepstakes casinos shows which brands are open in your state.

FAQ
Is Stake.us leaving Oklahoma?
According to a notice reported by SweepsKings, Stake.us will no longer be available to Oklahoma players from October 30, 2026. Stake has not published this in its terms or help centre, and we have not independently confirmed it.
Will I lose my Stake Cash if I live in Oklahoma?
The reported notice says you will still be able to log in and redeem your balance. Stake's terms only allow redemption of Stake Cash that has met its three-times play-through, so a balance with play-through still outstanding may not be redeemable after play ends.
When does Oklahoma's sweepstakes ban take effect?
November 1, 2026, under Section 2 of enrolled Senate Bill 1589.
