Baba Casino Ends Oklahoma Sweeps Coins Play After Oct 20
October 20, 2026 is the last day Oklahoma players can play or request a redemption with Sweeps Coins at Baba Casino; from October 21, Baba says any Sweeps Coins left in an Oklahoma account can be neither played nor redeemed.
That is the earliest Oklahoma cutoff we have found from any sweepstakes casino, eleven days before the state's ban takes effect on November 1. Baba posted it on October 5 and we found it on October 15, so the window is already shorter than it was. Baba's own 100 Sweeps Coins minimum means a small balance may not qualify at all.
What did Baba Casino announce for Oklahoma?
Baba put the same notice, under a capitalised "SPECIAL NOTICE" heading, at the top of both of its rulebooks: the Terms of Service, now version 19.0, and the Play Rules, now version 20.0. Both are stamped "Last updated on October 5, 2026", and the site's own page index records both documents as last saved on October 5 at 12:44 UTC. We read them on October 15.
The notice opens: "BABA CASINO REGRETS TO ANNOUNCE THAT IT WILL NO LONGER OFFER ITS SWEEPSTAKES OFFERING TO PERSONS LOCATED IN OKLAHOMA AND RESIDENTS OF OKLAHOMA." It then sets three dates.
| What | Baba's wording | Date |
|---|---|---|
| Bonus Sweeps Coins with purchases | "will no longer be eligible to receive Sweeps Coins as a promotional bonus with Gold Coin purchases" | From October 5, 2026 |
| Sweeps Coins play and redemption requests | "will continue to be able to participate in Sweepstakes Games and submit eligible redemption requests through October 20, 2026" | Until October 20, 2026 |
| Leftover Sweeps Coins | "will no longer be usable for Sweepstakes gameplay or eligible for redemption" | From October 21, 2026 |
The notice applies to "Users located in Oklahoma and residents of Oklahoma", so an Oklahoma resident playing from another state is covered too.
Is anything left after October 20?
Gold Coin play is not mentioned in the notice, which withdraws only the "sweepstakes offering". But the money question is settled in Baba's own words: from October 21, remaining Sweeps Coins are not "eligible for redemption". That is more than Mega Bonanza and Spree have said: as of our October 11 re-read, both barred Oklahoma without saying what happens to a balance held there, as our Oklahoma tracker records. At Baba, a Sweeps Coins balance not redeemed by October 20 has no published route to a prize.
One oddity: the 22-state exclusion list inside both documents was not changed and still does not name Oklahoma. The special notice is the whole of the Oklahoma change.
How many Sweeps Coins do you need to cash out before October 20?
At least 100 Sweeps Coins, under the Play Rules. Clause 6.d of version 20.0 still reads that Baba "will only process a prize redemption if the redeemed value of the prize is $100 USD or more (i.e., a minimum of 100 eligible Sweeps Coins)." Only coins "won through game play" count toward that, under clauses 4.a and 4.d, so Sweeps Coins collected free or as a purchase bonus have to be played through first.
As we reported in September, Baba's FAQ gives a lower figure of 50 Sweeps Coins. To set 100 SC against other brands, our redemption limits guide lists the minimum at each casino we rank. With five days left, plan to the 100 SC rule in the rulebook, not the FAQ. An Oklahoma player holding fewer than 100 redeemable Sweeps Coins on October 20 has no published route to get that balance out.
What to do now:
- If you are at or above 100 redeemable Sweeps Coins, request a redemption well before October 20, not on the day.
- Make sure your account is verified first; identity checks are the usual reason a first cash-out stalls. Our Sweeps Coins verification and redemption guide covers the documents sites ask for.
- Do not buy Gold Coin packages expecting Sweeps Coins: Baba stopped adding them for Oklahoma on October 5.
- Screenshot your balance and the request confirmation in case the payout is queried after the 21st.
If the difference between the two currencies is new to you, our explainer on the difference between Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins shows why only Sweeps Coins can be redeemed.
How does Baba's deadline compare with other casinos?
It lands first. Here is every Oklahoma Sweeps Coins cutoff an operator has put in writing that we have verified.
| Casino | Sweeps Coins cutoff, in the operator's terms | Our report |
|---|---|---|
| Baba Casino | Play and redemption requests "through October 20, 2026" | This article |
| High 5 Casino | Play and redemptions "until October 29, 2026"; purchases and new accounts stopped October 15 | High 5 leaves Oklahoma |
| Modo | Play and redemptions available "until November 1, 2026" | Modo's Oklahoma deadline |
Most of the market has published no date at all. Four B-Two brands, McLuck among them, barred Oklahoma on October 14 without saying what happens to balances, and our Oklahoma sweepstakes ban tracker has the rest of the market.
Why is this happening now?
Oklahoma's Senate Bill 1589 brings dual-currency sweepstakes casinos inside the state's gambling offence, and Section 2 of the enrolled bill reads: "This act shall become effective November 1, 2026." Baba's notice gives no reason of its own and does not cite the law. Our Oklahoma sweepstakes law page explains what the ban covers.
Baba is not a brand we rank or review. For players outside Oklahoma, our best sweepstakes casinos ranking covers brands whose terms we have checked.
