WOW Vegas Blocked Games: Up to 45% of Lobby, 16 States

WOW Vegas switches games off by game studio in 16 states where it still registers players and still pays out, on top of the state map every comparison site publishes. Pennsylvania players lose 1,166 of the 2,615 games in the catalogue, West Virginia 1,161 and Delaware 1,112 - between 42 and 45 percent of the lobby in each case, with no notice anywhere in the help centre.

The brand-level map is the one every comparison site tracks, including ours: 3 states cannot register, 12 more can play Gold Coins but not Sweeps Coins. Underneath it sits a per-studio map that decides how much of the lobby actually loads, and WOW Vegas publishes it only inside the configuration its own website reads. We pulled both that configuration and the full game catalogue on September 22, 2026 and counted the overlap.

How does WOW Vegas decide which games you see?

Each of the 69 studios in the configuration can carry a restriction list. Thirty-six of them do, and 30 of those 36 have games live in the catalogue. When a logged-in player's registered state appears on a studio's list, the front end marks every game from that studio restricted, and tapping it returns the operator's own message: "This game is restricted in your region."

The check needs a registered country and state, so a visitor who has not signed in sees the full lobby. That is the trap. You can browse 2,615 games, register, buy coins, and only then find out that a fifth or a half of them will not open for you. The counts below are this studio layer only. It sits on top of the brand-level exclusions rather than replacing them, so a state barred from Sweeps Coins play loses games at both levels.

Which states lose games, and how many?

These are the 16 states that appear on at least one studio list while WOW Vegas still serves them. Vermont appears on one list too, but that studio has no games live, so Vermont loses nothing.

Delaware is on the most studio lists, 22 of them. Pennsylvania loses the most games, because the studios that bar it are the big library suppliers. These are the six largest on Pennsylvania's blocked list.

Georgia is a cleaner example of how lopsided this gets - only three studios bar it, but two of them are Hacksaw and M2Play, so the state still drops 250 games.

Iowa is the one to watch for anyone who followed the supplier story there. When we reported that 11 of 12 operators still accept Iowa players, a trade report that 3 Oaks Gaming games had stopped loading for Iowa players was the one claim we could not confirm. WOW Vegas's 3 Oaks list names 10 states and Iowa is not among them. Iowa's 297 blocked games come from Habanero and RubyPlay instead. That settles nothing about 3 Oaks elsewhere, but it does mean WOW Vegas is not running an Iowa block on that studio.

Why does Oklahoma lose games when it is not on the excluded list?

Because WOW Vegas's own state list does not mention it. The help-centre article on excluded locations, last modified July 14, 2026, bars registration in Idaho, Nevada and Washington and bars Sweeps Coins play in Michigan, Montana, Connecticut, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, California, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana, Maine and Quebec. Oklahoma is on none of those tiers, yet Habanero's 154 games are switched off there. Oklahoma's ban does not take effect until November 1, 2026, and in August we found eight operators still naming Oklahoma as a state they welcome. The supplier layer is already moving ahead of the brand layer there.

Which restricted studios cost a player nothing?

Five restricted entries carry lists but have no titles anywhere in the file, so they cost a player nothing today: 24/7Reels, Gaming Realms, King Show Games, Skywind and Pragmatic Bingo.

Pragmatic Play is the sixth, and it does not resolve cleanly. It is marked inactive with zero titles in the 2,615-game catalogue, which reads as a supplier WOW Vegas no longer serves. But the same configuration file carries a separate list of 18 named Pragmatic titles, among them Sweet Bonanza 1000, Gates of Olympus 1000 and Big Bass Bonanza, each with its own RTP and its own minimum and maximum stake in both currencies. None of those 18 appear in the main catalogue. We cannot tell you from the file alone whether they are reachable in the lobby, and we are not going to guess. What the restriction list does say is that if they are reachable, they are not reachable in Kentucky, Delaware or West Virginia, which are three of the states in the table above, and those three would each be losing 18 titles on top of the counts shown.

What should a player in these states do?

Check the lobby before you buy, not after. The blocked games do not appear greyed out in a list you can scan; you find them one at a time. If a specific studio is why you picked the brand, the practical test is to register, look for one of its titles, and open it before spending anything.
