High 5 Casino advertises 3 free Sweeps Coins for signing up with "1st purchase required: No", and 3 Sweeps Coins is the figure its own Official Rules pay for a mailed request card rather than for opening an account. The page beside it prints the identical five numbers under the heading "AMOE", the free postal route, and clause 6.2 of those Rules lists no Sweeps Coins award for registering at all. High 5 re-saved both pages this afternoon and swapped the sign-up page's banner to "Only $9.99", leaving a paid welcome offer at the top of a page whose table below it says no purchase is required.

The same row of five numbers carrying two different labels is the finding here, because it means every cell in it is the wrong one of a pair on one of the two pages. That is how a rival's figure we could not explain on September 11 turns out to be wrong.

What does High 5 Casino's sign-up table say you get?

Three Sweeps Coins, free, with no purchase. Here is the top of the table as published on /sweepstakes/sign-up-bonus/ this afternoon.

High 5 is the only brand in that column marked "No". The page repeats the claim in prose, listing "Our top three picks: High 5 Casino : 3 SC + 400 GC + 300 Diamonds", and defines the tier it is describing as "what you receive for free, the moment you create your account and verify your email also known as no purchase necessary".

Now the page next door, /sweepstakes/no-purchase-bonus/, published three minutes before it on September 10 and re-saved forty-seven seconds after it today:

Five identical numbers. AMOE is the Alternative Method of Entry, the free postal route, and that page explains the difference at length before printing the table: "the most common AMOE method is the mail-in request", and "Most platforms award between 3 and 5 SC per approved request."

The heading above the criterion gives the collision away. It reads "Sign-up SC Amount Under AMOE", and the text under it defines the criterion as "the free Sweeps Coins you receive the moment you create an account, no Gold Coin purchase, no promo code, no strings." One heading, two different things, and one row of numbers doing duty for both.

Does High 5 Casino give you free Sweeps Coins for signing up?

Not under its Official Rules. Clause 6.2 opens "there are several potential ways for an eligible Participant to collect Sweeps Coins" and then enumerates four: a daily bonus for logging in ("You will be awarded a set number of free Sweeps Coins the first time You log into Your User Account each day"), Sweeps Coins as a free bonus attached to a marked Game Coin purchase, no-cost giveaway promotions and contests, and the mail-in request. An automatic award for opening an account is not one of them.

The only clause that could house one is 6.2.3, which lets High 5 run no-cost giveaway promotions, but it requires that "the amount of Sweeps Coins given away will be stated in the terms and conditions applicable to the Promotion". We found no published promotion terms granting Sweeps Coins on registration. So the 3 SC figure has no home in the binding document that the marketing page's own claim would need.

Where it does have a home is the postal route. Clause 6.2.4.10 reads: "A Participant will receive three (3) Sweeps Coins per mail-in request." High 5's own AMOE help page says the same thing in its own words: "Each valid Request Card = 3 SC credited to your Player Account after review and verification."

Which coins the marketing pages mean is never stated either. High 5 runs the standard two-token model, and only one of the two is worth anything at the cashier. Game Coins cannot be redeemed; Sweeps Coins can, once a balance clears the floor a cash-out request has to reach. Which numbers in High 5's AMOE table are wrong?

At least two, and they are checkable against the operators' own documents.

WOW Vegas is the cell that costs a reader something, and it is the same error we reported on September 11 in our read of the payout caps and free-coin tables without being able to explain it. Its help centre says it in two separate articles, both live today: "Each valid request card gets you 3 SC credited to your account", and "Once we receive and validate it, 3 SC are credited to your account." Five SC is WOW Vegas's welcome offer, not its postal one. A player mailing a card on the strength of the AMOE table will get three fifths of what the table promised.

High 5's own cell fails in the other direction, and on the other page. Three is right for its mail-in request and unsupported as a sign-up figure, so putting it in the "SC on sign-up" column is what produces the only "No" in the "1st purchase required" row, against a "Yes" for Chumba Casino, Pulsz, McLuck and WOW Vegas.

We could not verify the Chumba, Pulsz or McLuck mail-in amounts, because those operators do not publish them. We pulled all 90 articles from the Pulsz help centre and all 66 from McLuck's on September 21 and neither states a Sweeps Coins figure of any kind, for the postal route or the welcome offer, in any article body. That absence is why a rival's marketing table gets to be the answer a search engine returns. What changed on High 5 Casino's site on September 21?

The banner moved and the tables did not. The sequence, from High 5's own timestamps and our earlier reads of the same pages:

1. September 10 - High 5 publishes the six comparison pages, the no-purchase page three minutes before the sign-up page.
2. September 11 - we read the payout-cap and free-coin tables on two of those pages and cannot explain the 5 SC the AMOE row gives WOW Vegas.
3. September 16 - the sign-up page's banner is still selling the old 700 Game Coins, 55 Sweeps Coins and 400 Diamonds bundle at $29.99, five days after the advertised welcome offer changed.
4. September 21, 13:54:59 to 14:32:01 UTC - 22 pages are re-saved, six of them the comparison cluster. The banner becomes "200 Spins On Billionaire's Bank. Only $9.99"; every table row underneath it stays as published.

Those stamps are the operator's own. The WordPress page index gives modified_gmt values of 14:04:55 for the sign-up page, 14:05:42 for the no-purchase page and 14:05:14 for the real-prizes page against a date_gmt of September 10 on all three, which is how a re-save is told apart from a first publication. The page sitemap carries the same 22 stamps.

One thing moved, and it is on the page this piece is about. The banner still live on September 16, five days after High 5 swapped its advertised welcome offer to 200 spins for $9.99, is gone. The page now opens "Sign up & Claim: 200 Spins On Billionaire's Bank. Only $9.99", and the words $29.99, 700, 55 SC and 400 Diamonds appear nowhere on it. So today's edit finally propagated the new offer to the last page still advertising the old one, and left the table underneath it saying a new player gets 3 SC with no purchase required. The tables themselves did not move. We compared today's rows on all six cluster pages against the versions we quoted on September 10 and 11 and they are identical, including the "N/A" cells in the maximum-payout column where Chumba and WOW Vegas both publish a ceiling, and the Pulsz redemption minimum that reads 100 SC on one of these pages and 25 SC on another. The other sixteen pages touched today are slot and app guides.

One line on the sign-up page, in a section telling readers what to watch for, reads: "The most transparent operators separate the no-purchase and first-purchase tiers clearly so you know exactly what's free versus what requires spending." That is the right test, and it is printed on the page that now carries a $9.99 banner above a no-purchase-required table. A marketing page contradicting a binding one is not new at this brand: in August its help centre still listed Iowa as available after High 5 closed play there. High 5 Entertainment has not been asked for comment and had not commented publicly when we published; if it responds or corrects either page, this article gets updated.
