ReBet Futures Filing: 60 Idle Days Can Close Your Account

The company behind ReBet has been trying to become a federally registered futures broker since June 11, and while that application sits pending, ReBet's terms let it close an account that has gone 60 days without play, with no notice owed to you. Not one of ReBet's five player-facing documents mentions the filing, and its sweepstakes rules say your entries are forfeited when an account is closed.

The June filing is not new. iGaming outlet InGame reported it on June 22, writing that "Rebet, a social sportsbook and casino, submitted its application to be an FCM on June 11". What has not been reported is what has happened to the application since, and what ReBet's own rulebook does to a balance in the meantime. We read the National Futures Association's public BASIC registry and five of ReBet's player-facing pages on August 16, 2026, and searched for coverage of the August entries and found none.

ReBet is not one of the 33 brands we review, so there is no review page to send you to. What follows is what its documents say, read the way we read every operator's paperwork.

What exactly did ReBet file with the NFA?

The applicant is Rebet Predictions LLC, NFA ID 0578950, registered at 281 Summer Street, 7th Floor, Boston. BASIC lists two trading names against it, "REBET" and "REBET PREDICTIONS". Its banner today reads "Pending NFA Member". It is not a member, and BASIC holds no completed registration of any kind for the firm.

A futures commission merchant is the registration category that holds customer money. It is the same category Fliff and Onyx Odds applied for on August 12, and the same shape of move Novig made when it retired its sweeps currencies and converted balances to dollars. ReBet asked two months before Fliff and Onyx did, and two months on it is still waiting. CFTC staff have separately told federally regulated exchanges to keep sweepstakes-style rewards out of prediction markets, though that advisory addresses exchanges rather than the broker category ReBet's applicant filed in.

Is Rebet Predictions LLC connected to ReBet?

Yes, through the ownership record rather than the name. A shared word in a company name proves nothing, and we have been burned by that before.

BASIC lists Plateau Enterprises Inc as a principal of Rebet Predictions LLC holding a 10% or greater financial interest. The Better Business Bureau profile for Plateau Enterprises Inc, at 3 Lebanon St Ste 31, Hanover, New Hampshire, carries "Rebet, Inc." as an alternate business name and rebet.app as its website. ReBet's own sweepstakes rules name the sponsor twice over: "The sole sponsor/promotor of the Sweepstakes is Rebet, Inc.", at "3 Lebanon St, STE 32, Hanover, NH 03755". Its privacy policy gives a postal address on the same street, and the App Store lists the ReBet app's seller as "Rebet, Inc.". The suite numbers differ by one; the owner does not.

That answers the question the name alone could not. The futures applicant is 10% owned by ReBet's operating company, not by a vehicle standing apart from it.

Three ReBet entities appear across these documents, which is worth knowing if you ever have to chase a prize. The sweepstakes rules name Rebet, Inc. as sponsor. The terms of use, version 5 and dated December 30, 2025, name a different company, "Rebet Sweeps LLC", as the counterparty and also call it "Sponsor". The NFA filing is a third, Rebet Predictions LLC.

Carson Hubbard's position is the part we will not tidy up. Betting Startups reported on December 10, 2025 that Hubbard stepped down as ReBet's chief executive, that co-founder Isabella DiGiovanni took the role, and that ReBet's technology was being transferred to a new Hubbard company, Trivelta, and licensed back. The Better Business Bureau profile lists "Bella DiGiovanni" under business management, which supports the second half of that report. BASIC nonetheless shows Hubbard filed on August 3 and approved on August 4 as a 10% principal, president and chief executive of the futures applicant. Both records can be true at once, and neither company has explained the arrangement publicly.

Is ReBet shutting down its sweepstakes?

Nobody has said so, and we are not going to guess. ReBet's homepage title still reads "Social Sweepstakes Sportsbook & Casino", its App Store listing was updated on August 8, and none of the five pages we read mentions prediction markets, futures or the NFA.

What the rulebook allows is the part that matters. The sweepstakes rules say: "Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Sweepstakes. Any notice regarding cancellation, suspension, and/or modification will be posted on the Platform." Notice goes inside the product, which is no use to anyone who has stopped opening the app. The sweepstakes itself runs month to month: it "begins on the first day of the current month" and ends on the last day of the same month.

What happens to a ReBet balance if you stop playing?

Two clauses in two documents combine into one 60-day clock.

The terms of use say ReBet "reserve[s] the right to close Your User Account if it is inactive for a period of sixty days or longer", that "We are not required to give notice to You prior to taking such action", and that "Closing Your User Account will forfeit all continued access to and right to use, enjoy or benefit from any Virtual Coins associated with Your User Account". The sweepstakes rules then say the same thing about the sweeps currency in its own name: "RCH may be forfeited if a participant's User Account is closed for any reason, including at the Sponsor's discretion." RCH is what the rules call ReBet Cash.

Read the two together and the route is documented end to end: 60 days without play, an account ReBet may close without telling you, and sweeps entries forfeited on closure. Sixty days is twice the 30-day clock we found in the Fliff and Onyx rulebooks, and still short enough to eat a balance you meant to come back to.

One thing we will not claim. The separate expiry clause, "Virtual Coins will automatically expire in the event a User Account becomes Dormant", is written against "Virtual Coins", which the terms define as "virtual tokens to play all Games on the Site, including, but not limited to, chips, coins, credits, or points". That definition does not separate the play-money tier from the redeemable one, a split our guide to gold coins versus sweeps coins sets out. The phrase "Rebet Cash" does not appear in the terms of use at all. The catch-all reads broadly enough to cover both currencies, but ReBet has not said so in the document, and we are not going to say it for them.

The same document set has a second gap. The FAQ says ReBet Cash can be "redeemed for prizes once you meet the minimum redemption level and complete our verification process as outlined in our Terms of Use". The word "redemption" appears nowhere in the terms of use or the sweepstakes rules, and "redeem" appears once, in an anti-fraud clause about offers "redeemable by URL". The threshold you are pointed to is not in the document you are pointed at, so there is no published number to plan around. Where operators publish their timings at all, verification runs 48 to 72 hours, and that wait is the other half of a cash-out ReBet has not quantified either.

Is ReBet available in my state?

ReBet answers that in three places and the three answers disagree. The list that governs prize eligibility, in the sweepstakes rules, excludes 12 states. All three pages were live on August 16.

The gaps are not trivial ones. California banned dual-currency sweepstakes casinos with effect from January 1, 2026, and Tennessee banned them on May 22, 2026. Both appear in the sweepstakes rules and neither appears in the FAQ, so a player in either state reading the FAQ is told the platform is open to them while the contract that governs prizes says they are not eligible. Washington runs the other way: it is the first state the legality page names, and it appears on neither of the other two lists.

We have found the same split at four other operators, including Spree, which publishes four restricted-state lists that disagree and McLuck, where only two of three lists block Tennessee, and most recently Pulsz Bingo, whose availability list still names five states that banned sweeps. The pattern is consistent and so is the advice: the sweepstakes rules are the document that decides whether a prize gets paid. What should a ReBet player do now?

1. Log in and play something before day 60. One session resets the clock that lets ReBet close the account without telling you, and closure is what forfeits the coins.
2. Clear identity verification now, not at cash-out. If you are carrying ReBet Cash you actually want out, start the account verification the FAQ describes early, because verification is where eligibility gets checked and no published redemption threshold tells you how long you need to wait.
3. Read the sweepstakes rules, not the FAQ, on your own state. If you are in California, Tennessee or Washington, the sweepstakes rules are the document attached to prize eligibility. Both California and Tennessee ban the model outright, so the FAQ telling you the platform is open is the document that is wrong.
