LuckyLand Slots Balance Cannot Transfer to LuckyLand Casino

A LuckyLand Slots balance cannot move to LuckyLand Casino: VGW's own closure page, which we read on August 16, 2026, says "your account balances (Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins) cannot be transferred to any other brand." Games stopped on August 24, and the last redemption request is due September 14.

The same page tells closing players to go and play at LuckyLand Casino, and says in the same breath that their coins are staying behind. Two things changed, and both are corrections to what we could tell you before. On August 1 we reported that we could not find the shutdown notice anywhere on LuckyLand Slots' public site, which left a customer email as the only document. It is on the site now. And on August 4, having read both brands' terms in full, we told you we did not know whether a LuckyLand Slots balance moves to LuckyLand Casino, because neither contract mentioned the other. VGW has now answered that in its own words, in two places, and the answer is no.

Except where we name another outlet, every quotation below comes from those two pages.

Can I move my LuckyLand Slots balance to LuckyLand Casino?

No, and the operator says so twice in two different places.

The closure page carries a section headed "Account & Balance Information". Under the subheading "No account or balance transfers" it reads: "As LuckyLand Slots operates independently from other platforms, your account balances (Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins) cannot be transferred to any other brand."

The FAQ puts it more casually and adds the comparison that gives the game away. Asked "Can I use my LuckyLand Slots GC and SC balance for LuckyLand Casino?", the answer opens: "GC and SC balances can't move between brands." It goes on to say that you can still redeem from LuckyLand Slots as usual, and that if you want to play at LuckyLand Casino, "you'll grab fresh offers over there". Then the comparison: "It'd be the same as if you were to play over at Chumba Casino."

That last sentence is the honest one. VGW is telling you the move is the same as opening an account at Chumba Casino, a sister site nobody would expect to inherit a LuckyLand balance. It is not a migration. It is signing up from scratch at a separate site that shares a corporate parent and nine letters of a name, and nothing else you have built up, which is why we set out how the two LuckyLand brands differ on paper once the terms documents made the split clear.

Is the deadline August 24 or September 14?

Both, and they did different things to you. August 24 has passed and ended the games. September 14 ends your access to the money, and it is now the only one of the two that can still cost you a balance. Three dates, quoted verbatim from the closure page, with the operator's own consequence line for each.

Those dates match what we published on August 1 in the LuckyLand Slots shutdown timeline, which is worth saying plainly because that piece was built from trade-press reports of a company statement. We now have the operator's own page saying the same thing, so the calendar is confirmed rather than merely reported.

The August 24 and September 14 split is also why two different closing dates are in circulation. The VGW statement quoted by CasinoBeats on July 28 said the company had "made the decision to close the brand on 24 August, 2026", and that is the date most coverage led with. The player-facing page leads with a different one: "we're sharing the news that LuckyLand Slots will be permanently closing its doors on September 14, 2026." Both are accurate about different things, and the one to write down is September 14.

What else does not carry over to LuckyLand Casino?

Not much does. The FAQ is blunt about each piece.

• Your loyalty progress. "Your Diamond Duck progress stays with LuckyLand Slots."
• Your promotions. "LuckyLand Casino is a different brand to us, so the promotions will be different."
• Your state eligibility. Asked whether a blocked player might now get in, the answer is "Sorry, no. State rules apply to both LuckyLand Slots and LuckyLand Casino, so if you were excluded before, the same applies here."

The FAQ also includes a question a company only writes down when players are already asking it: "I'm not sure about LuckyLand Casino - is it a scam? How do I know it is legit and not copying LuckyLand Slots?" The answer leans on the parent company, calling LuckyLand Casino "a legitimate, exciting new social casino brought to you by VGW", described in the same sentence as "the same trusted company behind us", a list that runs LuckyLand Slots, Chumba Casino and Global Poker. Two brands with near-identical names, run by VGW through different operating companies, is a setup that invites exactly that question.

How do we know this is what LuckyLand Slots is showing now?

We should be straight about the method, because it affects how much weight to put on this.

LuckyLand Slots is US-only, and every path on the domain redirected our request to a "not available" splash. So we did not read the rendered page. We downloaded the site's production JavaScript bundle from luckylandslots.com on August 16, 2026 and read the closure and FAQ copy out of the application code, at the routes the app registers as /closure and /faqs. Both routes are registered in that code.

One check is worth spelling out, because it is what separates this from reading a stale file. The HTML that luckylandslots.com serves today loads exactly one script, /assets/index.C7pzqfwB.js, and that is the bundle we read. So this is the build the site is running right now, not an archived copy.

What that does not tell us is what a logged-in US player actually sees on screen, or when this copy was written. Code that ships in a bundle is code the app is prepared to render; we cannot watch it render from here. Treat this as a current reading of the operator's own production build rather than a screenshot. If VGW is showing players something different in-product, we would want to know.

How do I cash out before LuckyLand Slots closes?

Redeem, and stop thinking of August 24 as the deadline. Having a published deadline at all is more than some closures give: The Money Factory's notice on August 9 set no redemption deadline and no payout date for the balances it said it was preserving.

1. Check your Sweeps Coins against the 50 SC minimum now. 3. Do not treat a Gold Coin balance as savings. It is not redeemable at any date, and the closure page's advice is simply to "use your remaining Gold Coins".
