RealPrize and LoneStar End Delaware Sweeps Coins August 21

RealPrize and LoneStar Casino told Delaware players that Sweeps Coins stop on August 21, 2026, and that redemption requests for an existing balance have to be submitted by September 21, 2026. The first of those dates has passed, and neither operator has published anything confirming it took effect. Gold Coin play carries on, so a Delaware account keeps working after those dates - it just stops being redeemable for cash.

The two brands are moving on the same schedule because they share an owner. Both are operated by RealPlay Tech Inc., which is why the wording and the dates match across two sites that otherwise look unrelated.

When do Sweeps Coins stop for Delaware players?

The first date has passed. August 21, 2026 has been and gone, and we still cannot tell you what happened on it: both operators' sites refuse us, both help centres were re-read again on August 25 and still say nothing about Delaware, and no operator statement has appeared. If you hold a Delaware balance, the date that is still ahead of you is September 21.

The operators' message to players, as reported, reads: "Effective August 21, 2026, Sweeps Coins (SC) will be discontinued for Delaware players," and after September 21 "SC redemptions will no longer be available for Delaware accounts." Redemptions in the meantime stay subject to the usual terms of use and promotional play rules, which is the part that matters most: a verification hold does not pause a deadline.

The line to read twice was always the scope of the August 21 date. The message says it "applies to all Delaware accounts, existing and new, and covers all ways to collect, receive, or use SC, including bonuses, promotions, and AMOE." AMOE is the free postal entry route. So from August 21 a Delaware player could not top a balance up to a redemption minimum by any method at all, paid or free, and whatever was in the account on that date is the most there will ever be. If you are short of a redemption threshold, the month that is now running between the two dates is not time to close the gap in. It is time to find out from support what happens to a balance that never reaches one.

Have RealPrize or LoneStar confirmed this publicly?

One source, and we say so plainly. The trade site Sweepsy reported the change on August 11, 2026 from emails the two operators sent to their Delaware players. We have not seen those emails, and we have not been able to confirm the dates against either operator's own documents.

That is not for want of trying, and it has not improved with time. Both realprize.com and lonestarcasino.com return HTTP 403 to us on every request, including their terms of use and promotional play rules, and RealPrize's robots.txt disallows several named AI crawlers outright. The two brands' Zendesk help centres are readable and we pulled the full article inventory of each on August 14, again on August 22, the day after the first deadline, and again on August 25: 21 articles at RealPrize, 17 at LoneStar on all three reads, and not one of them mentions Delaware, state eligibility or a redemption deadline. Neither operator has published this where a Delaware player who missed the email would find it, and neither has published anything marking the August 21 date as having arrived.

So treat the two dates as reported rather than as verified by us, and act on them anyway. If you hold a Delaware balance at either brand, the order to work in is:

1. Clear identity verification first. It is the step that most often stalls a cash-out at the moment a window is closing, and verification at other sweeps casinos runs 48 to 72 hours before a request even starts moving. Our verification walkthrough covers what the checks ask for.

3. Get the request in well ahead of September 21, 2026. That is the deadline still in front of you, and neither operator has said how long it will take to process requests made close to the cut-off.
4. Screenshot the balance and the request confirmation, since neither brand has published any of this where you could point to it later.

What has Delaware done about sweepstakes casinos?

Enforcement, not a ban. Delaware has no statute outlawing sweepstakes casinos. Before the detail, note what nobody has established: neither operator has given a public reason for the timing, Sweepsy did not obtain one, and we are not going to supply one. What follows is the setting, not the cause.

Delaware runs its own licensed real-money online casinos instead, and it has used enforcement rather than legislation against the unlicensed version. On April 2, 2025 the Delaware Division of Gaming Enforcement, backed by the State Lottery, put a cease-and-desist order on VGW Luckyland, Inc., finding that the company had misrepresented its service as a promotional sweepstakes while letting players buy coins for casino-style games with cash prizes. The order cited the Delaware Constitution, the Delaware Penal Code and the Delaware Gaming Competitiveness Act of 2012, and the agencies warned that "unregulated gaming poses significant risks, including limited withdrawal options and potential exposure to cybercrime, identity theft, and fraud." That order named VGW. It did not name RealPrize, LoneStar or RealPlay Tech, and no Delaware action against any of the three has surfaced.

That is a different route to the same destination as a statutory ban, and it is why our Delaware page has always carried a restricted rather than a banned label. Not every operator has noticed: AceBet still lists Delaware, and all 49 other states, as available. The practical effect on a player is identical: the redeemable half of the product goes away, on a deadline set by the operator rather than by a legislature. When brands left states that had just banned the model, the redemption windows ran from 14 to 57 days. Forty-one days from the emails of August 11 to the September 21 cut-off puts this one in the ordinary range, not the generous end of it.

Does this change our RealPrize and LoneStar reviews?

Yes, and it also settles an argument our own pages were having with each other. Our brand records were last verified on July 27, 2026. RealPrize's excluded-state list held seven states then - Washington, Idaho, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New York and Connecticut - and LoneStar's held twelve, adding California, New Jersey, Tennessee, Indiana and Maine. Delaware is on neither list.

The prose of the RealPrize review used to say something different from RealPrize's own row in that database. The review's states section said the operator "has already exited Louisiana, Delaware, and New Jersey", which would have meant Delaware was gone before we last checked in July. The reporting said otherwise: an operator does not discontinue Sweeps Coins on August 21 in a state it left months ago. On the evidence we had, the exclusion list was right and the review sentence was wrong. The LoneStar Casino review makes no Delaware availability claim either way, so for LoneStar it was the excluded-state list alone that went stale on August 21.

Neither correction was one we were willing to make from a single trade report on a news deadline, so both pages went to the next data sweep with this flagged. That sweep has run. On August 20 the RealPrize review was rewritten: the Delaware claim came out of the exit list, the page now says accounts are still open there with Sweeps Coins reported to end on August 21 and redemptions due by September 21, and it links here for the dates. Getting a state wrong in the permissive direction is the expensive kind of wrong, which is why it was worth the extra week.

The distinction to keep straight is that this is not a full exit. Gold Coins continue in Delaware at both sites, which leaves a free-to-play social casino with no cash redemption behind. That is a different product from the one either brand is ranked on.
